270 reviewsDog friendly 3 star hotel, it's old world, full of character. Like stepping back in time. Room itself was big really comfortable bed, warm and cosy. Tea/Coffee facilities and hairdryer provided. We stayed in the main hotel which is quaint, there is more modern rooms available if you prefer. The food and the welcome cannot be matched. Everyone so friendly, attentive and on coming back from a walk on the seafront (literally a stone's throw away), we went into the bar where dogs are allowed. There we had a delicious dinner, met local characters (dogs get people talking), had great craic and met people enjoying some time in Tramore. Our first fime to bring our dog away and while not permitted into the restaurant for breakfast, it was no problem for wonderful staff to bring our food into the bar and breakfast was fantastic, better than some that I've had in 5 star resorts. Staff are a credit to the hotel, so if you like a warm welcome, delicious food and don't mind that everything is not modern, if you enjoy character and are willing to try a 3 star hotel with a 5 star service, this hotel is for you.
