We had a lovely stay at Lucy's home. Our large room was nicely furnished with fresh garden flowers and an extremely comfortable bed and an antique bath. Lashings of hot water and a bath you could stretch full length in made for two very happy cyclists ! The welcome scones and toast were much appreciated and breakfast was equally tasty, served in a bright and spacious breakfast room overlooking the gardens. The gardens are a wonder in themselves and we felt very lucky to have stumbled on Crocnaraw, a home from another era. We appreciated too Lucy's attention to our needs and her interest in us as her guests. Would recommend, especially to travellers who appreciate something a little different.

Another world

I was travelling on my own, seeking peace and quiet. And I certainly found it at Crocnaraw. Along with brilliant breakfasts and  a lovely room, Lucy's welcome was wonderful, her attention to detail and thoughtfulness on my behalf tremendous. I must also mention Gary's scones, best I've tasted- and I'm Irish. 
The immediate setting and wider area are stunning- I'd been to Connemara before and only wish I'd found Crocnaraw earlier.

Superb stay

From beginning to end it was a different experience and one that I totally enjoyed.  The house is set in beautiful lush grounds near Connemara Carpets in Moyard.  I felt as if I had stepped back in time and Lucy couldn't be more helpful.   So lovely house, lovely breakfast and lovely host.

Hidden Gem

Had a great stay. The host, Lucy was wonderful and had a couple of great chats with her. 

The room itself was comfortable. A little old fashioned, but charming. 

The only downside for me was the en suite. The bathroom itself was quite dark and the shower was really awful. No pressure, and tepid was as good as I could achieve temperature wise. 

With a little investment in some new showers, it would be perfect. As is, it's still really good though

Lovely stay

We came here for a corporate weekend, and the hospitality was just fantastic. The house is very quaint with a lot of character. Lucy and her husband took good care of all of us throughout the weekend. If you don't mind a bit of dust, tradition, history then this is the place for you! Thank you both!
