We have just had the pleasure of staying with Eamon and Pauline at their bed and breakfast. Where do we start? The welcoming is the warmest. You feel as if it is your own home. The room was spotlessly clean, with everything you will need. The beds were so comfortable, we wanted to bring them home with us. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious.

The local area, a lovely park nearby and McLoughlins bar is a must for food, beer and atmosphere which is very friendly. Great location for the DART, with the station about 5 min walk

Everything about Ferry House is just perfect. Thank you Pauline, Eamon and family for making our stay just perfect. 

5 star Bed and Breakfast

A lovely place to stay, the family were so caring and pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The breakfast was fantastic and delicious. Room was perfect.

Close to the DART and the bus to the airport is around the corner.

It felt like home

This is well placed for the town the park the seafront the ferry the train and the road. Handy stores and restaurants nearby. Lovely traditional old house. Good size room. Good tv. Good wifi. Wonderfully welcoming hosts. Fantastic breakfasts. Very comfortable.

Great place to stay

Eamon, Pauline and Ronan create a truly wonderful at the Ferry House Hotel. Great breakfast, proper pressure on the shower ;-) and personal stories as well as professional service and impeccable hospitality. Much recommended. If you want to stay in B&B, this is the place to be. It's home away from home and a stone's throw from the DART too.

Home away from home

We found this lovely B&B in Dun Laoghaire just outside Dublin for our first visit to this country. Pauline and Eamon made us feel welcome, gave us all sorts of suggestions for places to visit both locally and in Dublin. This is an old house, been converted to a B&B with showers in each room, breakfast room downstairs. Beds were comfortable, heated by hot water radiators so heat was comfortable. While we were there the wifi was poor in the room but better in common area. Breakfasts were tradition Irish breakfast, along with a good dose of Irish hospitality. Dun Laoghaire is well situated with express bus to the airport and DART to downtown Dublin all within 5 min walk from B&B. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely First Taste of Ireland

We just returned home from 11 nights at the Ferry House during our holiday in Ireland. This lovely historical home with very high ceilings, very clean and comfortable rooms was perfect for exploring. It is a few easy minutes walk to the DART , the Harbor road promenade, great restaurants and pubs along Upper Georges street, Peoples Park market and more. The Teehan family is truly unique, marvelously helpful, advising us on where to find live Irish traditional music [at the corner pub!] and day trips exploring the area, explanations of Irish history, cool Gaelic sports, and much more..they are so much fun! They prepared a huge delicious homemade breakfast every morning. No one is hungry here!This B & B is an authentic Irish experience, and I think I've returned home with the accent!

Irish hospitality at its best!

Visited here whilst at a sailing Regatta, with six of us using two rooms. Initial welcome was very good and rooms clean and tidy. 
Breakfasts were decent, without being spectacular, tho set us all up for the day ahead. 
One note of caution - business was for sale when we stayed, although some extra investment might help to upgrade the decor, which is looking a bit dated now. 
Generally, to be recommended.
