We greatly enjoyed our stay at Murphy's guesthouse in Dingle.  The property is in a great location, right on the waterfront and is easy to access with a good security system for late night entries (if needed).  Our room was bright and fresh and clean, with modern decor and a very clean bathroom.  The provided breakfast was continental with toast and cereals and fresh fruit, in addition to juice, coffee, and tea.

Our host, Eion, was very helpful and kind.  When he found out I was coeliac, he surprised us by running out to the grocery store to ensure that I had gluten-free choices for my breakfast.  I would highly recommend this property to other travelers.


Excellent stay in the heart of Dingle town

The hosts were accomodating with us arriving at 8pm. The room was extremely clean, and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast had a great variety of cereals and muesli, as well as toast and beautiful homemade brown bread made fresh for every breakfast. Siobhan and Eoin spoke to everyone as though they knew them personally. They were also very helpful and happy to answer any queries. The B&B is in a great location, only a short walk to the harbour and the shops/restaurants. Special shout out to Ted the dog who likes to make himself known at breakfast time. And we had the privilege of taking him for his morning walk! Can't wait to book our next stay! 

A gem in the heart of Dingle. Would highly recommend to couples, solo travellers, and families.

I was unable to stay at this property due to a last minute unforeseen event and spoke to Eoin who “offered” he would re-advertise the room on booking.com and confirmed he would return the €105 cancellation fee if the room was rebooked. 

Much to my surprise as per the verbal agreement made with Eoin, the room was not re-advertised on booking.com and so I was charged €105. I also had a friend ring who was told that the rooms were fully booked for the nights I had booked which also clearly indicate that he did indeed rebook the room (just not on booking.com as per our verbal agreement) so he made a lovely profit of €105 on top of the standard room rate.

Eoin had the audacity to blatantly lie and maintain he re-advertised the room instead of simply offering to return the money which would have resulted in a positive review - feel free to refer to Google reviews for his response to my previous review.

Dishonest and greedy

We stayed in rooms 8 & 9.  The rooms were fresh, clean, and made great use of space.  Room 9 had two night stands, a dressing table/shelf with chair, a closet with a large drawer.  In the evening with the window open we could hear great music from the venue next door.  The location is great and you can easily walk to shops, pubs, restaurants, the marina dock, bus stop, and super market.

The green & white Murphy's B & B

This is a family run guest house smack dab in the center of Dingle right on the water.  Breakfast was wonderful, with both continental and cooked options.  Parking could have been an issue, but we were lucky and found a free spot right in front both evenings when we returned after a day of sightseeing after the day trippers had left.  Dingle is a vibrant, buzzy little town and just so much fun.  Great shops, restaurants, music, the whole package. We were grateful for the clean, comfortable little twin room we had and this lovely family looking after us.

Great accommodation in a great little town

Stayed here New Year’s Eve - fabulous evening meal and beautiful room for our overnight stay.  Centrally located with private care park at the back.  Lovely full Irish Breakfast on New Years Day.  Attentive and helpful staff in the B and B and the Pub.  Great pub, good selection of drinks and fabulous Guinness

Great pub and fab B and B

The owners where prompt in communication and also upon our arrival.  Breakfast was outstanding.  Location is right off the bay.  Nice dinner restaurants short walk like 200 yards.  Plenty of pubs turning right or left out the front door.  Parking was excellent.

great food and location

Spent 2 nights, not the fanciest, but the best place for us. Clean, spacious, ideal location, great pub, superb breakfast staff. Free parking, great advice on driving and seeing the peninsula. Highly recommend.

Wouldn't stay anywhere else

We stayed at Murphy's B&B for three nights in August, and we rented two rooms for our family.  The rooms were recently renovated and were beautifully decorated and spotless.  The beds were very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.  Even though this is right in the middle of town, it was very quiet.  The breakfast in the morning was delicious with incredible french press coffee. This was our favorite stay of our entire visit to Ireland and highly recommend it! Eoin was friendly and a great host.

Perfect Place to Stay in Dingle!

For such a busy location the rooms we had were extremely quiet.We all got great sleep.
Our accomodation was spotless & had a TV discreetly positioned in the room.
TV room with coffee & tea making facilities at end of corridor.
Great value for money.
The owners Son,Eoin,was very helpful,good humoured, & professional.
It was a great stay for me & my Son & his partner.
Highly recommend.
Ps did I mention breakfast 😀. Delicious.
