Ardmore House

This wonderful establishment, provides the most comfortable accommodation. It’s hosts, Pat and his lovely Wife, go out of their way to ensure that all our needs were catered for.
Breakfast is plentiful with a huge choice. 
Clean and well maintained, this tradition Irish Hotel, is perfectly located, being a short walk to the local amenities. The Hotel is elevated, providing views over the water and the Mountains.

Relaxation In abundance!!

We stayed for a couple of nights in Westport at the Ardmore Country House Hotel. It was great, the location, room, food and in particular our hosts. Many thanks for the top tips on where to go to make the most of our short stay!

We stayed in Ardmore House over the May Bank Holiday weekend, we were greeted with a warm welcome by Noreen,who is always smiling and so helpful.
The accommodation is so clean and beautifully decorated, The room was cosy,warm and spotless with beautiful views of the water, the bed was really comfortable and bathroom really spacious.
Breakfast again was really well received with a good variety of choice taylored for all.
Noreen and her family are quick to make sure you have everything you need, also homemade scones are offered as a treat to enjoy later in the day and was a lovely touch.
We had such a great time in Wesport and the relaxing stay at Ardmore made our holiday just a little more special, we will definitely return.

We had an excellent stay for four nights

The loft rooms were huge and well equipped- we found it a good base for westport and cycling the greenaway and Louis burgh beaches 

We had dinner in the hotel one of the nights and it was excellent as was the breakfast 

The staff of the hotel were really pleasant and couldn't do enough to help even as far as phoning dentists for my dad's toothache

Stayed four nights in a beautiful king sized bedroom with glorious views of clew Bay. I travelled with our family of 6 and was delighted with the location of Ardmore, its within walking distance of westport which has many facilities and sporting activities for families to avail of. We ate in the hotel on one evening and the quality and quantity of the food was superb, highly recommend. The staff were very accomadating and attentive, even providing bath salts to ease the pain after our greenway cycle. Great breakfasts each morning and the place is kept immaculate. We will return. Beautiful location with amazing views, a few minutes walk from the harbour and close to town.  Stayed for 3 nights in July and will definitely return. The breakfast was delicious with so much choice, the dinner was absolutely mouth-watering , even the dessert was exceptional. The rooms are big with really comfy beds and the whole place is spotless, Noreen and the staff are very warm  & helpful and nothing was any trouble. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable &  very relaxing stay.

This is a delightful place to stay. We were in Westport for a few days to do some sightseeing and cycling the greenway. Ardmore House was an ideal location as it was close to the town. Walking distance to the Quays and Westport House too. 

We were well looked after by Noreen and her staff. She is a lovely host and seems to work hard in the background giving guests the space needed to relax. It's the first place in a long time where I have had three consecutibe nights of uninterrupted sleep. There literally isnt a sound in the place and that's the beauty about it. Plus the views over the harbour and bay are very nice to wake up to. 

I have read a lot of reviews on the property and those which are negative are unduly harsh. It is an impeccably kept and well finished hotel/guesthouse. Rooms are spotless and spacious. The ensuites are immaculate clean.  It may not compare with the glitz and glamour of other hotels but it doesnt have to. It has it's own place. If you need some decent R&R , you'll get it here. Stayed in the Ardmore for two nights. Fabulous location, walking distance to shops. Owners were nice and welcoming couldn't have done enoughforus. Breakfast was lovely. Very relaxing stay. Will definitely return.

Proper Irish B&B hospitality, welcomed with warm buttery cheese scones, kept toasty by a log fire, slept like a log in very good bed post bath and then great breakfast, the homemade compote is a must, just a lovely stay, full of warmth.

Very very nice place. Beautiful rooms delicious breakfast lovely hosts just perfect.The owners could not do enough for you to make your stay perfect. Lovely location easy to get into town by walking or driving. The first night the owner booked us a table at a restaurant and the next night arranged a taxi to take us into town. Thanks for a lovely weekend
