OYO 90319 Angler Guest House Malang

Small,  comfy,  a little noisy cuz there were kids staying near us.  Perfect for a neat freak on a budget.  Breakfast could be better.  Very helpful staff.  Couldn't have asked for better staff for this hotel.  Asked for a tupperware with uncooked rice cuz my phone drowned in sea water earlier that day,  n they were very kind and gave me what I asked for right away.  Superb staff!  

We stayed for 2 nights, it is located near Malang train station, only 10 minutes away taking a public transportation . 
The room is small but they set up perfectly. The breakfast was good with traditional taste exactly like they mentioned in the web. The internet connection was good. The hot water in the bathroom was also good.
But it needs more attention about the way to make up the room . They didn't change the tea cup, but they changed the towel. There was no tea spoon in one of the room.
Mrs.Ami is nice , she was warm-welcome when we  arrived. And we have chance to choose our room. And the other partner was nice too. He helped us when the car picking-up us got lost.


It is located in the middle of a residential complex, the middle of town and it will be easier to reach if you have your own vehicle. Small hotel is clean, comfortable enough to rest. They provided breakfast with delicious local menu. Toiletries are shampoo, soap, toothbrushes and towels. Staff are friendly and helpful. Suitable also for families. Overall the hotel was satisfactory, clean, comfortable hotel with good completeness.

Nice guesthouse, but they don't speak that good English. Sometimes it hard to arrange something, but they are very kind. The rooms are nice with big beds and a really good shower. The location is perfect! Nice restaurants and not to far from the center.

I stayed recently at this guest house. I am sorry to say that it does not match the name at all. This place is as noisy as a local market place. There were what it seemed to me to be a whole bunch of local students who stayed there also and there was a lot of noise up until 2 am. Sound of people talking and printer going on until early morning was a routine during my stay. It did not help at all that the place was so small. I had to actually find the staff to get fresh clean towel and toilet paper. Bedroom was left unattended along with dirty bathroom. Insufficient  warm water is another thing. I would not recommend this guest house to anyone. Sad to say to me it was a waste of money and time.
