my final and yet most disappointing memories about this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel back in somewhere around the early 2000's when it was still called Novotel. I was forced to stay at this hotel because other hotels does not exist yet and the other option to stay at Jambi is the Abadi hotel which is just across the novita which was formerly Novotel group. 

these days however in 2018, Jambi has become more like a modern rural town because recently in 2013 there was a push of infrastructure going on and there are more hotel options available within around town. such hotels include Swiss bell hotel and Aston Jambi. those 2 hotels 

I mention earlier is a bit out of town but the buildings are much modern because they were recently build. I can't ant tell how much exactly how much it cost to stay there, but I can assure you that the price is a ripoff. so overall I still recommend to stay at novice because its at the city center and close to good restaurants like international. 

breakfast is provided at this hotel, but incase you don't like the hotel food and want to try good  locals speciality, go for the Jambi noodles. please note that this noodle is not halal because pork is use in the noodle but does not have any beef.

The hotel position is very strategies
 It located in center of Jambi city. The hotel also integrated the matahari mall. Than you can easy go and hang out to every where you need, such as "empek-empek" food. But the hotel service is minimalis. The parking area is poor. The hotel infrastruktur is old. It need improvement and revitalisation...

Comfortable hotel in the center of city :

The rooms in this hotel are wide, even if they are standard class room. It's located in the center of the city and it's easy to go everywhere. This hotel keeps on doing renovation by adding facilities and improvements so guests are more comfortable. The food has variation with Indonesian and Chinese/Western/European taste. The employees are very friendly and helpful in giving facility to the guests. This hotel is suitable for vacation nor for trainings/meetings/events.

Old design hotel with best services and clean room.
The room is big for superior room and the rate is lower
I like it. 

Has swimming pool, gym, cafe. 

But parking lot is not too much so quite difficult to park my car. 

Best Old hotel

We had a good stay at this hotel. We travel with kids and elderly. Arriving very late at night, we are pleased to came in to really huge rooms. Breakfast also in good variaty. The hotel building adjacent into Matahari department store. And also there are convinient stores nearby.
