This is a beautiful place to stay and experience the beauty of the Tirtagangga region. The rooms are clean and decorated in Balinese style. It offers a relaxing atmosphere and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Whatever you need, just ask for advice and help. They can arrange great hikes in the beautiful ricefields of Tirtagangga, which are better than anywhere I've been in Bali. From here, you can easily make daytrips to Amed for snorkling or diving, the beautiful White Sand Beach in the south and visit the waterpalace of Tirtagangga. It's also very nice to visit Lempuyan - a mountain where the Dragon Temple is located. One that should be on your list! Further up the mountain you can take 1700 steps to the top. On the way you'll fine 5 more temples. The hike is really nice to enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding area. Geria Semalung iss a good place to visit if you have a motorbike, but if not you can ask for a driver (the prices are very reasonable). In this area you can experience the real Bali and enjoy the kindness of the people. Make sure you ask for the Tirtagangga Song, written by Dadap, the host of Geria Semalung.
