Fernlodge Studio Apartments

Arrived at Fernlodge lunch time having stayed in a beach hut in Agonda for a week. Fernlodge is something else, in its own little oasis, lush tranquil gardens. Tastefully landscaped and 3 rooms for guests opposite the owners home. Rooms and veranda are tastefully decorated quiet and private with a beautiful out look. The room has everything you could possibly need. Yvonne and Norris have thought of everything to help make your stay enjoyable. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and I am sure if there was something any guest needed they would go out of their way to provide it. Yvonne was happy to drive us to the supermarket on arrival so we could get some essentials. Norris is always happy to taxi you in the evenings if you wish to go to the local restaurants and back again. The price is very reasonable and he is totally reliable. We hired a scooter for 5 days all sorted out by Norris for us, even down to the petrol. Once you get over the shock of scooter-city and their driving, you find it liberating and fun. If you don't fancy going out at night most restaurant will do a take a way or you can ask Norris to cook a lovely meal for menu in room with prices. We had a table set near the pool and had the most beautiful and the biggest fillet steak we has ever seen. A bonus was the laundry and drying space at the side of the building a god send. Yvonne is very much into her yoga and is more than willing to teach you some positions and explain how they will be beneficial for you. A healing hut has also just been built in the gardens which I believe will be used for all kinds of treatments and therapies for various aliments in a perfect relaxing setting. All in all our 10 days at fernlodge were most enjoyable and would recommend it to anyone wanting a little luxury in a lovely surroundings with attentive hosts.
