I hesitate to write my third review. I fear that we may be turned away by a full booking the next time we want to come here.This is always our final destination in Kerala. We have been here for 7 days and it is a paradise on earth.

 It is in the midst of a coffee and pepper plantation which side crops of turmeric and ginger. The cook Sudha is a five star Kerala cook and has been here for over a decade. If we got food like this all the time, we would  be vegetarian. We have a whole cottage to ourselves with a king  size bed. The balcony overlooks the Western Ghats. A/C to necessary at all, but it can be cool early morning or late evening, so bring a sweater.

 Birds abound and the huge malabar squirrels check out the jackfruits to see if they are ready to eat. We came here with a driver and a car hired through Indian Panorama and there are places to visit in the area like the Eddakal caves, the honey museum, the tea museum, the Pookode lake, and my driver even found me a toddy shop. The are many places to get Ayurvedic massages

In addition it is the spice capital of the world. Go to the honey museum to get your spices. 

The entire staff has become like family to us. You  just get into a different mental framework far from the madding's crowd's ignoble strife. If you are the restless type and always want to be on the go, this is not the place  for you.

Unfortunately the area is going the way Goa has become . Developers rush to unspoilt areas only to spoil them in the process. Anand the owner and his father Murali, who manages the farm, are keeping its timeless tradition .

There are many 5 star Ayurvedic resorts mushrooming about the place and you can stay there and get impeccable English speakers and get a hit on your wallet. I would rather stay here and pay even if those 5 star places offered me a week for free.. Folks this is REAL!

A return to Paradise and life as tis meant to be in Kerala.

I was so surprised, because it was the best guest house I visited. The food is so excellent, prepared with love
Adarsh was very helpful and always in the near, if I had wishes. Best service !! I felt so well and homely. Also the stuff was great. I can really recommend.

Traumhaft 

We had a friends reunion at the Dhanagiri Home Stay bungalow which is spacious just right for a group of upto 10 persons.Plantation also has other cottages too .The place exudes rustic charm surrounded by colourful blooms in the middle of a coffee plantation.
The staff especially Adarsh is very cooperative, food is homely and delicious serving kerala delicacies.
Overall you leave Dhanagiri with a happy heart❤️
Good luck Mr Anand (owner) and looking forward to more visits to Dhanagiri....will surely recommend anyone for a safe, clean and amidst nature stay here.

Beautiful Homestay

A memorable reunion of us friends after 21 years of college. It was wonderful to experience and enjoy the warm and welcoming hospitality at the Dhanagiri Home Stay, Wayanad. The home stay is beautiful and has an old world charm. Nestled inside a coffee plantation the place is a peaceful getaway from the hustle & bustle.

Special mention Mr Adarsh who provided us the best service at the home stay. Food is too good and has a homely touch. 

Thank you Mr Anand. You home stay is wonderful. Looking forward to visiting it again.

Very Relaxing and Enjoyable 

It is a very nice place, with very cute cottages / rooms in the coffee plantation, everything very clean, some great food in (too?) big quantities and very kind personnel always very attentive and very empathetic.
Was great being at the season when we could see coffee fruits in many colours.


Lovely place

We had an amazing stay at Dhanagiri, the hotel itself is lovely and the rooms are located in overlooking an incredible coffee plantation. The views are ones we will never forget. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful. Even took us on a 6am hike to see the sunrise. The food was outstanding! Some of the best Indian food we have had. We hope to come back and visit again! Thanks very much to all the staff 💜

The place to stay in Wayanad!

Had an excellent experience on visiting Dhanagiri homestay. Rooms were neat and tidy, built within the coffee estate gives a spectacular view of greenery all around giving us a feel of refreshing atmosphere.  Most of the tourist spots are within the vicinity of the property.

Value for Money

We stayed at Dhanagiri Homestay, Vythiry, Wayanad for 3 nights, and had an extremely pleasant experience. They have a sprawling coffee estate with lush greenery and lots of trees. Food was splendid, with personal touches.
It was authentic kerala food, and in generous quantities.
We took 2 cottages and rooms were neatly done and had good wifi(though one should enjoy nature there)
We went with family, and we were made to feel very welcome. My children were even taken on a trekking experience through the coffee estate. Special mention to Rajesh and Santhosh.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone. And lastly thanks to Mr Anand,owner of the homestay.

Staff n hospitality is extremely good. 
Jerin is extremely helpful .
Utmost clean rooms .

Best part is the owner who stays in the property interacted with my parents so well . Felt like a home away home .

Enjoyed our stay in Dhanagiri Home Stay. The place is beautiful and the staff is very cooperative. We are group of 5 families with kids stayed in a villa. Premises are well maintained and clean. Go for it.
