There was not one thing that we did not like about this place. The location, hospitality, aesthetics, food, service everything was A1. Being there with family was such a homely and cozy experience and the constant drizzling and beautiful weather was the cherry on top. The place is filled with beautiful roses, Lilies and lush greenery. We plucked fresh fruits and had them throughout our stay. Their garden with fresh fruits and vegetables was just a treat to be in. 
The food was freshly prepared using these vegetables and was so delicious and healthy. Didn’t feel like we were away from home. The rooms are cozy and have all that you need. The washrooms are clean with basic amenities provided. Dhinesh ji, is the sweetest and the most respectful person you will come across when you stay here. It was the perfect escape from the city life and we would love to come back here soon.

The calm cottages are wonderfully located in a very quiet and peaceful area. We stayed in attic rooms which were spacious, clean, and very comfortable.  The bathrooms were very clean n hygienic too.The cottage also had an accompanying lawn with a gazebo where we all could sit n chit chat while enjoying our food

The garden was a delightful addition, filled with handmade/,handpainted decorative stones that gave a personal touch. We particularly appreciated the home-grown fruits and vegetables, which made the food local, fresh, and scrumptious. 

The hospitality was great, with special thanks to the helpful and supportive staff, specially dineshji and the owner  mr.Sandeep Gupta. Their assistance made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend The calm cottages for a peaceful and calm retreat.

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. Excellent homely food. Mr Gupta is nice host assist you in various sight seeing. Home stay garden was full of fruits like plum, peach etc and you can pluck and eat and that to without any pesticides.

It was a great stay at Calms . Absolutely home away home experience, The owners were very sweet and welcoming full of positivity and of coarse not to forget cooperating and helpful. 

The staff there were also very sweet and  good at their work .

Next time if visited the same place in Uttarakhand then will definitely choose The Calm Cottages again.

The calm cottages is my best experience we stay here for two days it is best days The area of this cottage is full green we like this type of cottage for live The owners Mr Sandeep and Mrs Gunjan is very friendly nature Their staff is also smiling nature The food is very yummy  They organised everything in best way

The name of the place lives up to the experience that it provides. Had a remarkable visit. The hosts are very welcoming. Special thanks to Sandeep, Dinesh and Hirender. They made sure that we had a comfortable stay. Would recommend this place if you are visiting that area definitely.

The Calm Cottages, as the name suggests, is truly one of the calmest places we have visited; infact, I told my daughter that you can hear the sound of silence. It is easily approachable by road and is clearly marked on Google maps, making the drive stress free.
The rooms have lavish space, sit out to soak in the sun and enough windows to allow in freshest of air.
The cottages are surrounded by numerous trees that add to the beauty of the place.
The icing on the cake is the hospitality of the staff, Dinesh and Harinder who meet each and every need and supply you with scrumptious meals which are tastier than home cooked food!
The cottages got us to get back in tune with the nature and long walks on nearly empty, winding roads were therapeutic for city dwellers like us. The added advantage was the place being pet friendly allowed us to take our lovely dog along which added immensely to our comfort zone.
Sandeep Gupta, the owner, and his wife have done up the place very well with numerous fruit bearing trees, artefacts and hand drawn pebbles, etc. The washrooms are modern with hot water available and rooms furnished with utmost care.
The gazebo just outside the cottages is the perfect place for family or friends get togethers and ofcourse the hot meals.
We would gladly and strongly recommend this place for family and friends outings away from the madding crowd and hustle bustle of city!

Gunjan and Sandeep are excellent hosts and we were all well taken care of with ever smiling Dinesh and Harinder
Really a wonderful place to relax and rejuvenate 


I really enjoyed the stay.  They accommodated everything very nicely. The hospitality was really fantastic. The owner and staff were responsible and friendly. They are good hosts too .   We were served homemade pickles and jams with yummy food. The rooms were cozy, hygienic, and comfortable. This place can easily accommodate 12-15 people. One can enjoy a stroll to the nearby village or go to the riverside or just enjoy nature at its best. Totally a leisurely trip.
