This was my third visit to Rasa Experiences and, as with the first two, it was FABULOUS. A few things stand out: the warmth of the host (Pawan) and staff; the amazing meals  -- each and every one were delicious -- prepared with everyone's preferences and needs in mind; and the beautiful and quiet beach. I have traveled around India many times (once a year minimum) over the past thirty years and I have to say that the beaches of South Goa, especially the ones near Rasa, are clean and peaceful and the water is the perfect temperature. Also, the way Rasa is set up means that guests get to know each other (if you want), eating meals together. Each time I have been to Rasa I leave having made a number of new friendships that we've kept up with. It's a unique kind of place to stay. I love it!

Another great experience at Rasa!

I stayed at Rasa for 9 days in February 2020. This was my first yoga experience and I have to admit to being nervous before hand. Pawan organised 121 yoga sessions for me and the yoga teacher was excellent. But more importantly Pawan and his team could not do enough for me and the other guests; the food and hospitality were amazing and the trips to different parts of South Goa were excellent. Highly recommended.

My First Yoga Adventure

My Rasa Retreat experience was wonderful. I enjoyed and miss all the delicious meals prepared throughout the 8 days of my stay. The kind staff really catered to my needs and wants; shopping. I was even able to go to Mass on holiday days of obligation which personally meant a lot to me. Two beautiful beaches were walking distance away; only a mile. The massages and sunset yoga sessions really put my mind and body in focus to relax. As well as, the hikes and excursions to see all the natural beauty Goa and surrounding areas have to offer. The entire home/room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I traveled alone, the other guest and staff embraced me and always made me feel welcome and included me in every way. Thank you Rasa for creating a beautiful memory of my 1st trip to India.

My 50th Birthday Adventure

I stayed at Rasa Retreat for a 10 Day yoga teacher training and aboslutely loved it.
The rooms are Nice and clean, and have everything you need. The Food was excellent and made to fit my individual taste and needs and the staff was friendly and serviceminded.
There is a Nice pool and the Beach is okay close to the House - only 15 min walk or 5 min by car.

Can only recommend to stay there whether it is for yoga, yoga teacher training or just to have a Nice and relaxing holiday.

Great service and friendly atmosphere

This place had been advised to me by a friend, who had previously stayed there.  
I knew it was going to be well, but I do not expect so much human warmth, so much kindness coupled with this atmosphere sometimes very full of mysticity, so specific to this country, that we adore or that we hate. I loved it !  I’ll come back for sure, and Pawan (the perfect host with his team) also received in a guesthouse in Kashmir.  
I really want to know too ... Thank you so much ! 

Tourisme 

This was the perfect way to end my trip to South India. After traveling three weeks through Karnataka and Kerala it was wonderful to be pampered at Rasa and enjoy the beach in a swimming suit and feel comfortable. The room that I stayed in at Rasa was easily the most comfortable and it had the best bed of my trip. It was very nice to have supplies for making tea or coffee in my room, though everyone at Rasa always make sure I had plenty to drink and eat. It was a wonderful experience and many thanks to Pawan and the excellent staff at Rasa.

Yoga and beach retreat at Rasa Experience

I was nervous when I first booked this trip - I'd never been to India and had no idea what to expect other than the basic expectation of a week long yoga retreat. What I experienced was SO MUCH MORE. Pawan was quick to email us after our booking to welcome us and explain the various excursions and optional items we could add on to our trip. He helped us with everything from how to apply for a visa to coordinating our food preferences. He even moved his flight to meet us in Mumbai and travel the last leg of our journy to Goa with us. 

From the moment we landed he and his amazing team handled everything - all of our meals, transportation, and daily activities. They allowed us to create the trip of our dreams, offering excursions to temples and markets while still allowing us time for realxing on the beach. The daily yoga also exceeded my expectations (finally checked sunset yoga on the beach off my to do list). The lodgings are comfortable and spacious, and the homestay feels more like staying with a family in their home than in a hotel (which we loved!).

If you're a solo female (or in our case, three young female friends) this is the best way to visit the region and see the sights. The team is kind and attentive and will go above and beyond to meet your needs and make sure your trip is one you'll never forget. I honestly can't say enough nice things, and even though we met as strangers, we left a week later feeling a part of the Rasa Family.

Can't wait to visit again and again!

Trip of a lifetime

I had no idea what to expect coming to India for the first time, and this trip exceeding my expectations in every way! I came with two girlfriends of mine. Pawan was coming back from a trip to Mumbai and even changed his flight to be on the same one as us. From the moment we met him, we felt completely comfortable. He is one of a kind, so thoughtful, and always making the trip extra special. We were treated like family from the moment we met everyone. He has hired an outstanding group of young men that have all become like family to us. Pawan, Sajid,  Arjun, Faisal, Tahir, Rounak, and Wasim were all extremely friendly, professional, and so fun to get to know. Pawan goes above and beyond to cater to your dietary needs, interests, and schedule. It was hands down the best vacation I have ever been on, and none of us wanted to leave after a week. Some of the highlights were: Yoga on the beach, kayaking in the ocean, the spice farm, hike to the hindu temple, massages, and day market. Pawan is truly a gem, and we feel so lucky to have him in our lives now. Book this trip and enjoy! :)

The trip of a lifetime!

This was my second stay with a Pawan and the Rasa Family; on both occasions as a solo traveller. Pawan enjoys attending to the every need of his guests and our daily itinerary is individualised to accommodate this. The food is exquisite and the cookery lessons teaching us how to cook those dishes are a bonus. I can not recommend Rasa Experience enough . . . . You will not be disappointed !

Attention to detail

This trip surpassed my expectations! I came to Kashmir looking for an 'off the grid' place to experience something new, and I found that in Rasa retreat and more. The attention to detail, quality of food, anticipation of needs, and day to day organisation made this one of my favourite holidays. All aspects of my week were taken care of (which was nice as I was travelling solo). Thank you to Pawan and his tema for such a memorable experience.
