Very pleasant 3 days stay.  We stayed in the Standard Room (Double). The room itself was very spacious.  There are Executive and Family Rooms as well with very reasonable rate.

Neat and clean rooms and hotel lobby.  Very good service when we called for it.

Convenient location.  Close to main temples and market.  Easy to access.

No restaurant in the hotel though there are many restaurants at walkable distance.

On demand, they provide Tea / Coffee.  

Covered car parking and they provide a place for the driver to rest.

Will stay again during our next visit.

Stayed in deluxe double room for one night in the second week of February. The hotel had lift and the hallways are spacious. This hotel is situated in the heart of Kumbakonam. There is limited parking available. The rooms are neat, clean and spacious. Hotel staffs are courteous and well-mannered. We were able to see the gopuram of Sarangapani temple from the room. Overall a pleasant stay.

This hotel is close to the railway station - 7-minute drive by Rickshaw. This is located in the heart of the city. We stayed for 3 nights in the last week of June 24. Booked 2 rooms for a family of 4. Neat and clean spacious rooms. Since we booked direct, we got the benefit of 24 hrs check-in. The Hotel is close to many temples. It doesn't have a restaurant facility but there are good Veg hotels within walking distance. The hotel provides you with the Chart for temple trips - do grab one, it would be useful to plan your trip. Though I didn't take their inhouse car hire services, the prices seemed reasonable. Hotel staff are courteous. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Hotel Diamond is really good for the price. Nice, big, clean rooms with all required facilities. Clean bathroom. Located in main area, most of the temples and restaurants are located approx. 1-2 kms from here. They don't have their own restaurant though.
Suitable for solo, family as well as couple travellers. 

This is a very good hotel in the heart of Kumbakonam. This is located in the market place with famous messes and restaurants nearby. Adi Kumbeswarar temple and Sarangapani temple are at walkable distance. The rooms are well furnished and spacious. The staff are good, although most of the time they are not reachable over the extension.

stayed in the 3rd week of Dec18, good location is in close proximity to various temples, rooms are well maintained and clean, have to depend on restaurants outside the hotel (they are in the process of setting up a in-house restaurant)

We stayed in 3 bedded family room from 2-7-23 to 4-7-23.Reservation was done through telephone.Check in was ok. Check in/out is 24 hrs.The room is spacious for 3 persons.Location is very good.A/C is working but some funtions are not available in remote.
when we came back after temple visit gyser is not switching on. They switched on after complaint.This is what happening in some cheap hotels but didn't expect at this hotel . Tv is not working when we entered the room & made alright after half an hour.Thease things should be taken care of before check in.There is only 2 charging points.One is malfunctioning & the other is not working.
The receptionist (Mr. mahadevan)seems to be new & needs training to attend the complaints of clients.Toilet & general cleanliness is ok.The staff are polite & courteous. No restaurant in the hotel but available near by.Once they clear out these defects this hotel will be good.
