The location of this beautiful hotel is perfect if you  want to experience the magic of nature ! Tucked between the mighty mountains covered with a carpet of pine trees on one side and the gushing river of Sind on the other side, the place is gorgeous ! This couple with a very  friendly and kind staff, made our stay a beautiful experience !

The Villa Himalaya hotel, located on the riverside near Kullan, is an excellent place to stay for those who are looking to visit Sonamarg.

We stayed on the first floor in a balcony room facing the river and the sunrise-facing snow-capped mountains. The room is medium-sized and just sufficient for a family of 2 + 1 child. The washrooms are good and have good quality soaps/gels/lotions . The only problem is that the instant geyser does not provide a regular flow of hot water, and we have to continuously adjust the shower faucet.

The hotel restaurant provides excellent quality meals, and we recommend eating there. They also organize bonfires at night. We tried their Kashmiri Wazwan cuisine and barbecue dinner and thoroughly enjoyed those. However, the cherry on the cake was the picnic lunch which they organized for us away from the hotel on the riverside, which was one of the highlights of our Kashmir trip, and we strongly recommend each and every guest to try this experience.

Excellent boutique hotel around 12km before Sonmarg. It is just besire a stream and gives a good feeling. Very quite and pristine with good food and courteous staff. The rooms are spacious and clean and hotel lobby is clean too. Enough parking space for car. 

Superb.Amazing .Went with family and loved the place.The staff..the feel..food by riverside..they specially ask for the sort of food we like...and were always ready with a smile for every need.Was fun

One of the nicest boutique hotels we have stayed in. Tastefully decorated with all the creature comforts. The location is brilliant- on the banks of the Sindh river and the mountains around-  serenity and peace! Warm and welcoming staff and delicious home cooked style food. My husband and I are vegetarian,and we had some delicious spread at breakfast and also an amazing kashmiri food dinner. Would recommend strongly! 

Location is top notch, stream and mountain side. Clean well maintained property. Excellent hospitality, staff is always there to attend with care. Special shout out to Adil Sajad and Mahender chef. Memorable trip. Thanks.

The hotel is situated amidst the hills n has a river flowing along its sides . Location is perfect with very helpful staff  n delicious food.Highly recomended place to stay with family as well as friends

I visited with my family at this hotel on dated 30th of June 2023. My experience at this hotel was excellent as this hotel is at a perfect location giving river view. The rooms were excellent, the food quality was also very good. The staff was so humble and cooperative. We were stuck in a jam at Sonamarg for 4 to 5 hrs at night and reached hotel at 12:15 am ( night). But still the hotel staff provided good quality hot food. I appreciate the cooperation of Mr. Sajjad who helped a lot. Hospitality provided by the hotel was excellent. Even, we got a chance to meet the owner of Hotel who was also very humble and nice personality. I recommend this hotel for stay.

The best place to stay during a visit to Sonamarg. It's a short drive from Sonamarg but that's the best part. Sonamarg itself is hectic and commercial and full of tourists and pony wallahs. 
The hotel is on the bank of the river Sind. Heavenly location. 
The balcony rooms are comfortable and sitting on the balcony enjoying the peace of the flowing river with snow capped mountains in the background is something that must be experienced.  
The rooms are large and comfortable. Service is very good. 
The restaurant is tastefully furnished and the best part is the service. It's attentive and pleasant. Food was quite delicious. 
Breakfast was on the lawns overlooking the briskly flowing river, the warm morning sun on your shoulders. 
In the evening and early morning we walked along the village road along the river. On one side of the road was a tree covered mountain slope, on the other side , the river. Peace all around - couldn't ask for anything more. 

Memorable experience of life.The rooms overlook river.It has lovely balcony with a river view with an Indian sitting.Rooms are big and nice.Everything right from flavored teas to fragrance body wash is perfectly selected.Food is excellent. Three cheers to Chef...awesome food.Staff is so warm courteous at dining area as well as servicing the room.Its worth spending time and money in this hotel.I am sure you will love this place.
