Booked the hotel through MAke my Trip, was fooled by both , the hotel as well as MMT
Not worth the money, pls do not book

Photos shown on MMT are all false , lawn shown in MMT is large and when u actually see it ,it is hardly 100 sq ft

Diwali Vacation

We were 4 family members & Had booked 2 rooms for 3 days via MMT site. Room had Mosquitoes, Fan was not working, No Refrigerator in room, WiFi connectivity was very poor & there is NO RESTAURANT.  Not worth the cost charged.

False promises while Booking

Excellent view & superb services by front desk & dinning hall I must appreciate help by imran who is most helpful to all customers wish him a very all the best and keep up the good  prefer to stay in the suit rooms very tastefully done rooms the interior the bathrooms the varanda sittin overlooking the sunset hill view is amending the food prepared is homely and tasty special mentions to chef narayan a must visit place at mahabaleshwar feel home away from home highly recommended five star rating

Diwali vacation

Excellent stay..hotel near mkt area.. helpfull staff.... delicious breakfast. Neat and clean Rooms and bathroom.
  Hotel shud start keeping heater.. in winters.. 
Hot water will be available till 2pm. In request can provide..
 

Good Rooms

Lovely boutique hotel close to market with excellent service. Well maintained clean rooms with friendly staff.  Good place to chill out and right at the edge of the market. Recommend the pool facing rooms.


Lovely quaint boutique place 

We stayed at Fountain Village this December and absolutely loved it. It’s a lovely small but efficient and charming boutique hotel right in the heart of Mahabaleshwar. The location is right off the busy & only market but you would never know this if you were staying on the property. It’s as quiet as it gets if you stayed by the cliff... The lack valley view is very well compensated by the absolute serenity of the place & simple decor. I loved that the hotel was true to its basic non-extravagant & eco friendly manner in every detail. The menu is limited & there is no restaurant or dining hall but we never missed it. This will be my go-to place forever. We met the owners & hosts and true to their passion the property is just such an extension of their love and detailing. 

Beautiful & Quaint 

We had a great 3day stay at the hotel - pleasantly surprised at how serene the property is even though it is in the heart of Mahabaleshwar- a very short walk to the main market. Very well maintained rooms - very clean hotel with very helpful staff. Will definitely be going back....

Great boutique hotel in the heart of Mahabkeshwar

It was a pleasure staying at the fountain hotel. the food was great and so was the view. it is amongst the better places to stay. although the prices may be on the higher side and it is not negotiable most of the times.

Lovely view, amazing food

We visited during peak season times, so we got tariff INR 5200/- which I feel is higher wrt facilities we received at place.

Free breakfast is HONEY TRAP only 2-3 limited menus with unlimited quantity's. Quality of served breakfast was not up to the mark, milk was like white water. However the paid food was very tasty & delicious.

Its a pure vegetarian cuisine with no restaurant in hotel. There is very small inconvenient dining area provided where for small small things u need to rush to reception or pantry.

For the name sake of entertainment only one carrom board is there, swimming pool was like pond with dirty water, though it's being cleaned daily.

No dental and tea maker kit provided inside room. Also photos posted by management are not so realistic to get clear picture in advance. Cutlery provided was also cheap quality.

THE ONLY POSITIVE ABOUT THE PROPERTY IS ITS LOCATION & COOPERATION BY ALL STAFF INCLUDING RECEPTION, THESE PEOPLES ARE HELPING AT THERE BEST TO MAKE THE STAY COMFORTABLE. 

IN SHORT, overall good hotel for short stay but NO VISIT DURING PEAK SEASON ATLEAST AS NO WORTH FOR MONEY!

I hv just checked in....  Everything about the hotel seems to be fine but doesn't hv any view of the landscape... Its very weird that a hotel with FREE WIFI as one of its amenities has wifi of speed as shown in the pic. In true sense come and stay detached from the world. I have been assured it will b fixed...  Lets hope 🤞.... Except for keeping us deliberately cut off from the world every other thing is fine. Hope they fix the issue n i can give them 5star
