Karthik Villa

This is my second time staying at karthik Villla and I would never stay anywhere else when I am in Varkala. The location is perfect, 1 minute from the middle of the cliff, but just off a small path which means it isn't noisy. So all the restaurants, shops and the beach is on your doorstep. The accommodation itself is wonderful and great value for money! It is a large room, with 2 beds, one king size and one single. The rooms would be good for families or friends sharing or like myself, on their own. The bed is very comfortable and I slept well every night. There is both a fan and AC and a TV. There is a large bathroom, with shower and hot water, plenty of shelves and also an electric fan. There is a fridge in the room, which is a real bonus for storing snacks or drinks. There is also a water filter, so you have constant fresh drinking water. Outside there is your own private balcony with chairs and also your own hammock. I find this so relaxing, to get away and just chill out whilst on holiday is fab, and laying in the hammock looking at the coconut trees and eagles is amazing. The family that own this place are lovely, and will treat you like family. They are extremely helpful and will help with any questions you have. The room is very clean and I felt so comfortable staying there, I also felt very safe which was important to me as a women travelling on my own. Best place in Varkala!
