The property Manager is a very generous Gentle man and is a great host, I personally liked his nature as a person, all this combination made my stay very pleasent... Would love to be here again and again. Special thanks to the hotel manager.

Great experience

Their room in top floor(room 115) is the best of all with a small sitting area outside the room and gives a  good city view. Use the stairs beside the Presbyterian Church for a 10 min walk to get to the M G Marg. Taxi stand in 5 min walk. Hotel has a good service and has good food.

a nice hotel to stay

Decent room and good service throughout the stay. Walkable distance to MG Marg. We were a family of 3. Food was good too. The cost of food is same everywhere.

Closets can be bigger. WiFi issues need to be rectified.

Good hotel

Location is very good..only 5 mins walk to MG Marg...rooms are clean..some rooms have view of kanchenjungha... tasty food available.... staff are very helpful specially the manager Pawan is a nice person.

Amazing

Room is good, but dont ask for taxi services. Sikkim is tourism place, site seeing depends on taxi driver, I had terrible experience with driver provided by hotel. Central Location, Beautiful view from room.

shortage of skilled staffs

Very nice hotel

The Hotel ambience & amenities was average. The staffs were frankly and provided us the best they can. We were having some issues related to water supply, But the hotel provided us with affordable water service they could provide us with best. It was of free cost. It really moved me and my family because of their being human nature. The food quality was felt like home. It was reasonable. The front desk was helpful in providing our requirements.

"Valued for money" experience

I booked this hotel from Makemytrip. Room type was executive room.

1)Check-In time was 12:00 and we reached at around 12:10. They said room was not ready please wait in the lobby. We hauled our luggage to the lobby which was on 2nd floor. Till 13:00 we sat there, when no one came I again went downstairs to check. They said room is ready now. I again went upstairs collected my luggage and checked into the room.
2) Room allotted to us was 101. We paid the price of executive room but they provided us with a cheaper delux room. This room had several problems:
a) Bathroom was so dirty that it looked like a public toilet rather than a hotel bathroom.
b) There were no ammneties whatsoever be it basic toiletries  in the bathroom nor clean towels.
c) There was no hangars in the cubboard, lots of cobwebs around every corner of the rooms.
d) Stain filled sheets on the bed
e) The most irritating thing about this room was that it is bang opposite to their reception. The moment I open the door I can see the reception guys and it was so near to the entrance that we could hear every conversation phone calls those were happening outside. We could hear the reception phone ringing, people chatting it was all so disturbing.

One I complained about it they said rooms are full. Try to adjust today we will shift you tomorrow to a different room but that never happened.

3) We tried to adjust as much as possible but the flashpoint occured the next day when we woke up early as we had a booking for nathu lake and we need to be ready early but to our utter dismay there was no water. After waiting for one hour still there was no water, When I complained about the same they provided me one bucket of chilled water. We managed somehow and while going out.

4) After all this harassment when I finally saw the manager and complained about the same instead of apologizing he bluntly told me if you have issues change the hotel. I was shocked by his behaviour.

5) We stayed there for 2 nights but no one cleaned our room neither changed the sheets, Even though it was clearly mentioned that housekeeping is included in the room service. But after the morning behaviour of the manager  I decided not to ask about housekeeping as I did not wanted to ruin my holiday because of those cheaters.

Bunch of cheaters.. completely ruined my holiday

We were a group travelling from Assam. We had our booking at Hotel juniper,gangtok  At first we were quite amazed to see that as we were late night while arriving to the Hotel due to delay in our Journey. But the hotel employees along with their Both managers Mr. Bukul & Powan were awake late night and greeted us with warm welcome. It was a quite heavy rainy day. They provided us with hot teas and warm beverages. A normal question? what a business miniac would want in his/her long tiring buniess trip ? Its Obious ! A comfortable Homestay experience .  We really felt a home away from home experience during the stay. Our stay was of 2 days . Thank you Hotel Juniper for a wonderful and pleasant experience at your Hotel.
