We spent  2 weeks at Nagesh place and had a very goid time. This couple is very friendly and generous. We really felt at home. The room upstairs is spacious and gives you the possibility to stay on the terrace where we made our yoga every day. The area is very convenient because you can find everything you need:a tailor, a grocery shop  an ice-cream parlor, small restaurants at local and reasonable prices.It at walking distance to any spot.. 
This place is to be recommended.

A very cosy and friendly stay

Absolutely perfect. The owner, Nagesh, is wonderfully friendly, helpful, nice, and caring about our needs, all while greeting us with a smile every time we returns to the home stay. We liked it so much we actually stayed an extra night.  The rooms were clean, the location is great (on a quiet back alley buy just a 15 min walk to all the touristy stuff), and the property was nice. I highly recommend staying here, and will definitely stay here next time I'm in Kochi. Thanks Nagesh!

Maintainz all justice to a title of a home stay-" a home away from home"

This place is a hidden gem in Fort Kochi. I stayed here for 2 weeks. Though it may not be that strategically located as compared to other homestays, hostels or hotels in the Fort but its location also made this homestay great - away from the hustle and bustle of Fort Kochi. Should I mention the awesome hospitality of the owner, Mr. Nagesh and the awesome Keralan breakfasts prepared by his wife.

Pros: 
Location is quiet and has a view of the small garden.

Living Room: Nice living room and you feel like you are in an Indian family home.

Laundry: Nearby Dobhi Khana, a public laundry place, so you don't have to worry about your laundry.

Restaurants: Local restaurant and eateries on the main road and plaza. 

Transportation: Bus to Lulu Mall and Airport and rickshaw along the main road.

Ambience: Very quiet place. Nice Veranda. Nice place to read a book on a lazy afternoon.

Cons: 
Location: Away from the scene of Fort Kochi but walkable for 10-15 minutes or get a rickshaw for 30 rupees.

Curview: 10PM. But you can tell Mr. Nagesh that you will be late and he is fine with that.
