AQUASSERENNE

We visited this place actually in 2014. Superb location and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in peace and calm. Surrounded by water and greenery, we came back all refresh. 
Breakfast was typical south Indian.

An ideal getaway location. A Picture perfect place. 
However, glaringly noticeable is the lack of upkeep and maintainence. Facilities as claimed are not available for utility. 
Food was to our satisfaction as it catered to our choice. Enjoyed the Kerala delicacies very much. The other styles like Chinese, North Indian etc. were not up to the mark.
The Breathtaking beauty of the lake with its surroundings, was a feast to the eyes. The stillness in the air with the lone boatman gliding by pulling up his net oftentimes hoping for a catch, the scents at the waterfront, these gave us some nostalgic moments. It was an ideal setting for a breakaway with good old friends.
Aquasserenne experience will stay as a memorable one.

The location of this property is amazing. Food was good. Stay was comfortable. That being said, the property needs overhaul and maintenance to prevent it from going to the dumps completely. Hope the management wakes up soon.

Great Location and refreshingly calm place

SCENIC! BEAUTIFUL! IDEALLY LOCATED!

Fantastic location. Pleasant stay. Nice food.

A good resort to spend time for few days out from all hassle of a town and work. You can see the sun rise from your room and the reflection falling in the lake. While you can also view the sunset from the back side of resort too. The food is great in the restaurant. They also provided room service and daily room cleanup. They have a complementary 30 min wooden boat ride in the lake.

However, few things I felt could improve. 
1. The toilets atached to the room have open roof facing the sky; not good for Women . I suggested to grow plants to provide a shade.
2. The place is very secluded, so we stayed in the resort for most of the time; we had to use the Resort Car 6560 for going out to Kollam city or Trivandrum tours. (charges were not based on KM but fixed)
3. The swimming pool and one side of the Property felt not maintained properly. We could spot beer bottles, cups and Food plates floating around
4. Ayurvedic center was not open
5. Food options are restricted by availability in strict restaurant menu


Nice place for Couple

The property is vast and expansive but now faded and jaded due to poor maintenance. We came to get an experience of backwaters tourism - kayal, kuyil and karimeen. The staff were very helpful and the chef went out of the way to cook practically on demand. They arranged a meal of the Kerala specialty of “Karimeen polichathu” for dinner one night, and again said that they went to Kollam to buy crabs for us for a lunch a la carte that included another Kerala speciality - spicy crab curry. The food was extremely good though the prices were 5*!

Our grandson asked for an elephant ride as soon as he knew that he was spending X’mas here many months ago. Very fortunately there was an elephant farm (Annakkottil) that trains and arranges elephants for the temple  festivals of Kerala usually at this time of the year not very far away. The reception arranged for this visit and my four-year-old got that dream ride on a majestic thirty year old tusker called Modi!

Kayak, Kuyil and Karimeen

This place needs lots of maintenance. It is a good place but looks like the owners have abandoned it. Staff is very courteous but overall, it's not worth to stay here in such conditions. I wouldn't recommend anyone till they fix it right and maintain it properly.
