Although there are many positives of this place, the best part is the location -- it's just opposite to the lake, with a personal walkway (from 19:30 to 06:00 -- other time, it's for outsiders too). The sunset view at lake, from the house lawn, with a cup of tea/coffee is amazing. We went with family -- however, this can be a great place for newly married couples -- even two/three families will be great. Inside the city, still very quiet and nature friendly. The service person, Mr. Sunil is very cordial -- and house owner Mr. Rishi is very caring about his boarders -- met us every evening to have friendly chat and at the same time. provided us ideas about tours. You can order foods through Swiggy -- you also can have home cooked foods -- Sunil is an excellent cook. Overall, great experience -- home away from home.

We took two rooms at Lago Villa as a family of five during our Dusshera vacation to Bhopal. On many counts this was a memorable stay and we hope to be back again.

a. The rooms with a well maintained lawn are right next to the beautiful and serene Bhopal bada lake. This allows for a relaxed stay
b. The rooms are big and well-maintained. We had a comfortable stay.
c. Lago Villa is close to all the major places of interest in Bhopal. Shamla Hills is a great location and far away from the crowds. The sense of spaciousness - whether it be the rooms, the vllla or the roads outside makes for a charming feel.
d. Mr Khattar's mother took care of us lovingly and attentively . We experienced their warmth and hospitality and yet had the privacy of being together as a family
e. The guest kitchen gave us flexibility to make tea, snacks, etc. That was good
f. A big bonus were two wonderful dogs - they just love to play

I am short of words to appreciate the hospitality received at Lago Villa. Its overwhelming and eternal. Thank you Mr. Rishi for making our stay flawless, comfortable and  cherish able. The ambience as mentioned is adorable. The maintenance is meticulous. The Aunty is so generous and concerned about our stay that we never felt away from home. The cleanliness and interior is stunning. Every door you open, you find a table with a sanitizer. The hygiene is always been  kept foremost after the covid waves. The view of बड़ा तालाब  from the backside lawn is just not scenic but peaceful. The food being served is homemade with a touch of love and affection, as it is from my own kitchen. Rooms are exceptionally large, even the bathroom too. Enough parking place for four cars. The two pets, Tiger & Bullet were also so homely and lovable. I wish GLV all the very best and prosperity in future.

I have stayed at Rishi's home stay for 7 days (17-24 Dec 21) Must say; the host's family is warm, very cooperative & makes you feel at home. This property is in one of the posh areas in Bhopal. Lake view/ access is unparallel. What I most liked about the place is polite staff, low interference from the host, well maintained & clean rooms and ease of travel to virtually any part of town from this place. Special mention: Bullet and Tiger, 2 pets are absolutely adorable. I played a lot with them; they love you as one of the family member. Definitely revisiting this place.

A very clean and modern homestay  with lovely little garden overlooking the lake where we had breakfast. Backside access to the lakefront park and walking trail is fantastic. Breakfast was lovely and the owner Rishi was very friendly. Definitely recommend this place.

This Homestay is an amazing place! Located on the promenade of the Upper Lake of Bhopal, it is confortable, clean and the host is very nice and helpful. 

And Bhopal has wonderful museums worth visit  

If you do stay there as I stongly suggest, say please greet the host’s mother for me, a  very nice lady. 

Mesmerising view and fantastic hospitality I stayed here with my family for four days and were well taken care by the hospitality of the owners who ensured every small detail was taken care of for our comfortable stay.
We reached a late than the scheduled time and the owners were generous enough to treat us to warm home cooked meal on our requests. 
The rooms were very clean and spacious with neat and well maintained washrooms. A dedicated staff is assigned for the well keep of all the guests who does a great job too.
The highlight of this property is the view from the garden and the room of the lake which is beautiful and very peaceful. 
The biggest attraction of Bhopal city its lake is just at a walking distance where one can enjoy water  with family. 

All and all a great experience which is quite reasonably prised.

This homestay is beautifully maintained & in a lovely, peaceful part of Bhopal right opposite the Bada Lake. We stayed in 'Magnifico' & it certainly was magnificent both day & night, looking straight out over the tranquil lake which was also beautifully lit at night. Rikesh & his staff are lovely people, & can't do enough to help you & ensure that you're comfortable & well fed. (You can have a tasty evening meal too if you want). Rikesh can also help you plan your time here. We stayed here 4 nights & didn't want to leave!

We stayed at Lago Villa our first night in India in route to traveling to 4 national parks. The location right on Bada Lake was lovely. A very nice walking path was accessible out of the back yard of the property. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The room we stayed in was attractive, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was served at our convenience- and our hosts made sure our ride to our first park was on schedule. We highly recommend this lovely B&B to anyone needing to stay in Bhopal

Lago Villa is right opposite the Bada lake facing the lake. The hosts are really friendly and welcoming and would guide about everything in Bhopal. They allowed us to check-out late since we had a train late evening. Breakfast was good too. Must recommended place to stay in Bhopal !
