My partner and I arrived here early in the morning after a 12 hour train ride. We had booked the room two nights previous (this was around May 2019) via booking.com and even called to make sure that the booking went through. All seemed well until we showed up very early in the morning. We went to the front desk, where some poor excuse for a receptionist was passed out at the front desk. We politely woke the fella up and tried to explain to him that we had booked a room. He lifted his head up, shooed us away with his hand and attempted to go back to sleep. I woke him again and showed him our booking on my phone. He said "We're full" and went back to his nap.
In the meantime, my partner and myself had to use the toilet and asked him if we could use theirs while we tried figuring out the booking. He told us that we couldn't. We had to sit on the road with all of our luggage for over an hour while sorting out the issue over the phone with booking.com. The entire time this guy, who was passed out again and of NO HELP in finding us the booking, a toilet to use and also refused to speak with booking over the phone. I don't understand how someone could treat human beings this way. This review might make us sound like rude people, but I can assure you that we're completely polite and calm throughout this entire exchange, despite being exhausted from the train ride and REALLY needing a bathroom at 5 a.m.. We got absolutely no help from this guy and after about an hour and a half, booking.com found us another room that was walking distance from this dump. Thank you to booking.com, and no thank you to the terrible staff at "Classic Rooms". Luckily this was the only booking issue we had in the month we spent in India.

Worst service that I've ever come across

Excellent place to stay around Brigade road / Church Street ; main point is this hotel's accessibility and tariff. The courteous staff will be arranging a good breakfast as well if it is included at your package.
Clean and spacious rooms with good air-conditioning and big enough toilet.

Excellent place at Church Street, Bangalore with well natured staff and accessibility to the city

No room service , terrible bathroom hygiene, no toiletries.
Rude customer service - Charged Rs 70 per 2 bottles of Kinley water bottle where the MRP was Rs 70. Staff very rude got no satisfactory answer for the same.
Wifi is a joke gets exhausted after 200 MB.

Don't recommend the hotel to anyone.

Appalling Staff behavior felt cheated

So the first room we were put in on the ground floor had a very damp smell and the bed felt slightly damp when we complained the very young hotel worker (call him Hairbear as he has big hair) came to the room and said all the rooms were like that and it wasn't damp, he also told us our boiler was fine even though there was no hot water.
Later that night down came the rain outside and inside out room as it ran down the inside wall, again we complained and a different cross eyed hotel boy refused to move us and just kept chatting to me in Hindi (I don't speak Hindi) and saying it ok, it ok.
I finally went and complained to the older gentleman in reception who immediately after some arguing with cross eyes relocated us to a better room with no leaks and a working boiler on the 2nd floor.

Breakfast was again a joke as hairbear refused to accept our order for toast stating we could only order idli or dosa neither of which we wanted so we sent him away only to have the front desk clerk  knock 5 minutes later offering us toast.

The over all appearance is slightly run down the lift only works when they are not pumping water out of it and it's a bit smelly.
It's predominantly stayed in by Indian men out in Bangalore drinking who for some reason like to leave their hotel doors open and are very noisy.

Moral of the story don't deal with the house boys hairbear and crosseyes we absolutely useless although the older lad who started sorting out breakfast was ok.

Other than location this hotel is really not worth it and only the fact that the 2nd room was ok saved it from a terrible from me.

Pretty poor

It is very satisfying staying at Classic rooms next to metro station which is located heart of Bangalore. Easy to travel to most part of city thr Metro. Also night life is very nice at church street area. Affordable n clean rooms. The service is very good. Thanks

Summer Vacation at MG Road .Bangalore

The reception staff was very rude and unprofessional, no concept hospitality at all.
The hotel is not maintained at all and its very  unhygienic. Even after booking with request for early check in, they were not flexible even though they had lot of vacancy.
The staff needs to learn what it means to be hospitable.
