We just keep coming back!  Vonyarcvashegy is such a lovely beautiful & quiet place. 

The area here with Lake Balaton on the doorstep & Keszthely only a couple of miles down the road is brilliant. 

Restaurants are abundant and incredible value for money. 

We have been to this area quite a few times in the last 15 years or so - and keep coming back. 

Villa plattensee is one of the nicest, most comfortable and relaxed place we’ve ever stayed. Hence we keep returning, and would love to come again. 

The rooms are large and very well equipped, air con,fridge, separate area for bathroom etc etc.

The pools are brilliant 

The honesty bar is fantastic. 

The staff - you’d hardly know there are any, unless you need them. 

The breakfast room is great - timber structure on framework. 

Parking is abundant  

Totally recommended to others.

Absolutely perfect place! Excellent service, rich hot and cold buffet breakfast, very warm and helpful staff. Quiet place with nice surroundings. The room was clear, bed comfortable. We were 3 adults and 2 teens and had a family room (2 separated rooms and one bathroom ), for short stay was fine. For longer stay I recommend 2 separated rooms just for the better comfort during morning hygiene. But definitely we spent a very nice time there.

Quite and comfortable place

I have chosen it based on the good reviews. We stayed for one night. The location is excellent near the lake. The staff is very friendly and speak english and german too. The room was perfectly clean. However the furniture is a bit old, the isolation of the room could have been better and the breakfast could improve a bit.

Nice place

Very nice place, great location. Stuff are very helpful. You can really relax in this place. WiFi needs to be upgraded to the same level as the pension itself. It was already recommended to the stuff. Aruba APs would and could give enterprise grade coverage and would satisfy guests. In general i recommend to stay.

Excellent location! Spacious units with everything you needed for your comfort...

The best thing here is the staff and owners: smiling, friendly and helpful. Especially the young lady in the reception who helped me with my multiple questions many times with professional style.

Outside of the hotel is beautiful but inside was something else. Our room was like straight for the 80s - and not in a good way. Bed, blanket and pillow felt like they were over used and poor quality - when I turned on to my other side, bed moved so much that my wife woke up. Rooms need renovating and updating so badly! Breakfast was not good enough for 3 star hotel of this price, we would have had tasty fresh fruits and vegetables. Cappuccino was good, however. Wifi was one of the worst we have had in a hotel, weak signal which cut off several times in a short time.

Disappointment

What a great, comfortable & relaxing place Villa Plattensee is! 

Firstly I want to thank the owners and staff for being so friendly & laid back.

The rooms are great, very clean, large with a good ensuite. Air conditioning works brilliantly & for me is essential.

The pool(s) are immaculate and such a relief from the heat of the day.

Breakfast is good too.

The honesty bar is brilliant (I hope guests are honest in their recording of the drinks they’ve had) 

This is the second time we have stayed here & honestly wish we could stay longer. 

It really is fabulous. I hope to be back.

I would recommend a visit to Lake Balaton but you must stay at Villa Plattensee. 
It is perfect.
Staff are so friendly and welcoming.
The postion with lake views 
The pools are perfectly clean with plenty of sunbeds. 
The rooms are beautiful you can also bring your dog's.
Breakfast is brilliant in a tree house! !
We really love it here there is everything for a lovely relaxing stay. 
Great local restaurants walks and cycling paths.
Honestly you won't regret it. 

One of the best places we have ever visited 

We only stayed a night in this modern and very clean hotel. My guess would be that this hotel is a family business. Breakfast in the morning was fair and service was excellent. No complaints on staff, service, cleanliness or hotel. The only thing that I would like to point out, what we noticed also in whole Balaton area that people here are orientated towards German speaking tourists only. We hardly found any locals that they have spoken English. I would recommend this hotel!

Very attractive hotel 

We stayed here in July 2015..We liked here everything...Excellent breakfast and service, friendly staff, clean rooms, nice swimming pool... Pretty close to the Balaton Lake, it's about 5 min by car..We recommend this hotel definitely!!!
