6 reviewsWe travelled to Szeged for the weekend and stayed one night at Kálmán Panzió. It's so convenient. The place is 5 min walking distance from the train station, there is a tram line right there too, and the city center is roughly about 20-30min away by foot. We have received a very warm welcome from the lovely owner who explained everything, and guided us to the second floor to our apartment. The bedroom had 3 single sized beds, from which two was placed together as a master bed and one a bit further away. Simple furnishing, solid decoration. It has an old fashion and home-like feel to it. Charming in a way. We had a good night sleep, even that I found the mattress a bit too soft. Nonetheless, we had a great relaxing time there. In the morning, for an extra fee we had breakfast at the panzio. There were wide variety of meals & drinks to choose from. And everything we tried were fresh and tasty. We were so happy about our stay there. It was easily affordable, close to everything and we were treated with warmth and kindness from the owner, Rozsa. We both recommend this place; especially if you travel on a budget and you'd like to be in a quieter place but still so close to the city center.
