Lovely place to stay  , clean and cozy rooms, delicious Honduran food. The personal are.friendly and very polite . Perfect location near the park , Higly recommended eaither for family or friends to stay.

Excellent Hotel

This charming hotel is immaculately kept with lots of character.  I would much prefer a hotel like this over a Best Western or Marriott.  The owners are on site, personable, friendly, and courteous. One speaks only Spanish; her daughter speaks English well.  WiFi was fast and accessible in the common area as well as in our room.  We ate breakfast early, so unfortunately, orange juice wasn't yet available, but the rest of the breakfast was delicious. The rooms are well-equipped and mattresses good quality.  This was a very good value. I would highly recommend this place. Although close to the market, it was very quiet.

Charming hotel!

The hotel was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful with getting settled in. It's a really beautiful place that is kept very clean and organized. The hotel is nearby to the center of the city and easy walk to anything in the city. Even the ruins were only a 15 minute walk away.The staff didn't speak English and I didn't speak Spanish but they were great at picking up on what I was trying to ask or say and helping to figure out what they were saying back. They do lock the gate at night, however, they have someone on staff to open it for you when you come back.The view from the balcony is gorgeous. If you get that room though beware that you can hear the bars near by if you open the windows. You can hear it a little with the windows closed, but I am a heavy sleeper so it didn't bother me at all. The AC works fine. The fan was a little odd. You can only run it if the light is on, so you won't be able to run it at night. However there is the ac or a great breeze at night.The bathrooms are very nice and clean. I am 6'4 so when I sat on the toilet my knees touch the wall. However the bathroom overall is spacious and the shower is big enough for probably three or four people, so there is plenty of room. The beds and pillows are very nice. The mattress is firm and I like to sink into mine, but I didn't have any problems sleeping on it.I plan to stay there on future trips!

Great food, room, staff, and location.

We stayed at this small BnB hotel for a trip to the Copan ruins.  The hotel is immaculate and is about one block from the town square.  It is family owned and run by two,pretty sisters and their parents who will do their best to make your stay enjoyable.  There is a courtyard bar and small restaurant with fresh cooked meals (limited menu).  It is in walking distance to the ruins, although taking a Turk Turk is the best way.  The house has not four bedrooms with baths en suite so it’s not for large groups.  The only downside is that since the meals are prepared almost to order, they do take a while.

Small, but lots of charm

Small but clean and nice. I would stay there again without a doubt.

Close to everything!

Copan is a beautiful city with mayan ruins.  Beautiful hotel with easy access to restraunts and the center square.  Very beautiful lots of flowers...felt very safe.  We went out nightly to walk around, great little town.  Taxis are plentiful and very nice.

Hotel was overbooked despite our expedia reservation/confirmation.

Hotel was overbooked

Like others, I had a problem with the hotel being overbooked and was left without a room during an extremely busy holiday. Given how far the town is from other cities, and the fact that we arrived in the evening, this presented a safety issue as we were not able to find another hotel and had to travel after dark to seek out other options out of town. The person that checked us in said that they couldn’t hold a room that was booked via this site and that I should have made a few reservations “just to be safe.” Learn from my mistake, and look elsewhere for a more trustworthy business.

Avoid this place! It’s a scam.

I booked this hotel a week in advance and when I arrived, the room was not available. The person there said that unless I had paid in full, then it didn’t matter that I had used my credit card to reserve. She also had the audacity to say that maybe I should have booked a few places, “just in case”. Due to the holiday, the town was completely full and we ended up having to leave. This place cannot be trusted! 

Stay away, I also got scammed 

Booked and payed two months in advance, when I arrived there the hotel was fully booked and got relocated to a cheaper hotel. Hotel owner was conveniently not available. Never got a phone call or offered a refund.
