We stayed at the accommodation of "Skardamoula" last week, and we were very impressed by the cleaness, service, and organisation of the place. The rooms are big, very pleasant, and very well furnished and equipped. We knew before, as we ate there many times, the restaurant of Kostas Georgouleas, the owner, " O Kipos tis Skardamoulas", and we were very happy with the food and service, but this was the first time we stayed in the rooms above.
We can only say that they are excellent, and much better that the nearby expensive hotel, as well as other accommodation in Kardamyli. Well done Kostas.

Stayed at Skardamoula's Garden again recently. As always, a lovely warm welcome from the owners. To divert a little from mainstream opinion, I quite like room 1, which has an excellent view over the square rather than the beach, although it's one of the smaller ones.

The restaurant is worth visiting too. I suspect it suffers due to not having the stunning views of Lela's etc, but the food is excellent and the menu contains a few home made dishes that one generally doesn't see elsewhere.

We stayed for 11 nights and were really happy with the hotel. We were in room 4 which has a balcony and a seaview. The hotel is situated off the main square which was a great place to watch the world go by, and we were only moments away from a really lovely small beach with warm, safe sea to swim in, and free sunbeds - even in mid-August it never felt crowded. The room was really clean and secure, and had good a/c and hot water. The family who run the hotel and the adjoining restaurant were very welcoming and warm, but we also felt we had our privacy too. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to go back there ourselves one day.

Well located by a little park, close to everything.
Plenty of parking on road outside. At night, quiet. 
Comfortable beds, aircon & ceiling fan too, nice to have choice.
From our spacious balcony facing the park we could see the sea one side & look up to the mountains on the other.
Solid hot plates for cooking, fully equipped for self catering.
One suggestion, would be nice to have bin in room as well as toilet.
We ate here too, lovely garden taverna, food delicious. Lots of people eating shows its popularity.
Very good value for money, we would definitely stay here again.

I can highly recommend this hotel. The standard is simple but it has many important   advantages like:
- clean room with no visible wear due to usage
- blankets and towels changed every second day
- a good restaurant on ground floor with tasty dishes
- a spacious terrace with shadow until 0230 pm (yes; it is an advantage; room no 2 with three beds)
- close to a small beach, about 150 meters to go (gravel; bathing shoe is recommended)
- close to three super markets within about 200 meters
- 40 meters from bus stop and a small and shady main square
- no disturbing traffic noise from the main street (few cars)
In general:
Short way to many cafes and restaurants. Do not forget to try the pie at Tikla to mention but a few. The city provides many marked hiking trails which starts on the other side of the main road (ask the sports shop "2407" for advice)

Very good location

This accommodation is OK but really only worth booking if other, better places in town are already booked. Owners are personally pleasant but make no real effort to make the rooms particularly welcoming or go beyond the bare minimum. No condiments, toiletries etc that most private rooms will provide and rooms are looking very tired. Towels and bedding changed infrequently. Owners decided to close the taverna they used to run as it had become too much hard work and I fear it is time for these apartments to go the same way.

Average - much better options available

Have stayed here for one week. I got room nr 3 - two beds, large room with balcony to the sea and with fireplace!!!  Clean. Quiet. Close to everything. Room nr 4 has the same view, but is smaller. These two rooms are the better ones. Kardamili is a very noce and charming village.
