Super friendly host and welcoming. 
The room was clean, comfortable, cosy and it was 10 minutes far from the central bus station of Thira. 
Also, property has a nice terrace with table and chairs where you can relax.

Great time

Irene was very helpful providing a great overview of the things to see and do in Santorini.  The location was also very good with the restaurants, bus station and shops a short 10 min walk away.  The room was quite large although the bathroom was small as is usual for Europe.  Overall, very clean and comfortable.  We would certainly stay again.

Great Location and Host

The hotel is well located, quiet and very clean. The owners are fantastic, very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious, with AC unit and free Wi-Fi. 
As I arrived very early I was able to wait for my room to be ready, waiting in the reception! 
Nothing to fault! Highly recommend it!

Brilliant base for santorini

A very nice place to be in, very close to all facilities, a very nice sunrise view  Irene and her husband are very kind and helpful.  Near to bus station that takes you to the beaches and to Oia. If I come back to Santorini, I will surely be there.

This is my second stay at Pension Zaharula. The first time was with my daughter in 2018. This time I brought the entire family. The price is great for what you get and the location is central to all Fira has to offer. The rooms are spacious, extremely clean, and quiet. Our hosts, Irene and her husband, are very friendly and helpful. They get you the best deals on transportation, rentals, restaurants, and general advice on what to see while in Santorini. My son and his girlfriend said they will definitely be staying here again when they come back to Santorini. If you're an American or any other English speaking tourist looking for a great place to stay, look no further! Pension Zaharula has you covered!

We Loved This Place The Position is Excellent You Can See The Sunrise From Your Front Yard (The Photo You Will See Further Down Is The Sunrise From The Front Yard)You Are Only 10 or 15 Minutes Walking From Fira Town, The Room Is So Clean ,They Clean Your Room Everyday, The Bed Is Very Comfortable The Owners Irene & Andrea Are Very Friendly ,Very Polite , They Help You With Transfers , And Any Other Information You Need We Definitely Recommend Pansion Zaxaroula To Other People . GOOD ON YOU PANSION ZAXAROULA

Irene and her husband are great hosts. He picked us up early morning and the check in process was so quick and painless. The location was wonderful and super close to the main area of fira and close to the caldera. Excellent value for money. The rooms are clean and the wifi is a bit spotty but not bad. Noone comes to Santorini to be on wifi constantly anyway. Irene was very helpful and made us feel comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mini mart nearby had great food options. Had a phenomenal time and would stay here again.

Excellent stay

I stayed here in October 2018, and found it was a lovely place to stay, beautiful accommodation close to the city centre, and our hostess was very welcoming and informative about where to go, places to visit and good places to eat. I would stay here again - thank you!

Highly recommended

We stayed here for 9 days.  It’s a cute little hotel about 5 mins walk to town if you know where to fin the shortcuts.  Andreas picked us up from the airport. Nice friendly man. His wife Irene greeted us with smiles when we arrived.   She helped us book tickets for tours and car rentals.  Nice couple.  The room had a nice size bed.  There’s a mini fridge and kettle.  5 mins away there is a corner store but if you walk a bit further there’s a bigger one.   Great place.
