This apartments are great we had the best staying in there and the location it’s much better than we expected it’s near to the beach called canal d amour. It is a family owned business so the hospitality was amazing and they helped us right away with everything we wanted ! Besides the appartmwbts the family ownes a very good restaurant we highly recommend as well! See u next summer !

Neat rooms (cleaned daily), clean pool, quite quiet place far from the bustling city center.

The owners are very kind and really helpful. They do everything to make you feel good. They lead a taverna opposite the apartments, where the food is delicious and affordable.

Perfect place for a family

Stayed here from 9th july 14 to 13th july 14 as went to visit my daughter who lives in sidari.

family run hotel with a restaurant across the road. Very peaceful and relaxing which was what i wanted for my break.
No drinks are available on site but the son, Spiros is available most of the day to get drinks from the bar/restaurant across the road.
Very lovely family, english speaking wife.

The walk into Sidari took about 20-30 mins depending how fast you walked, but it was a plesant walk. the other direction is a place called 7th heaven where you can eat a meal and watch the sunset, i never made it there but will on my return in august.

rooms were clean and tidy with enough room for clothes and belongings. the shower is small and has to be hand held but most are in greece. kitchen is ok for a sandwich or cuppa but not a big meal.

about 1 hour from airport if you get a decent transfer company

The bed-sheets were not properly cleaned at all (I found some strange stains on them...), I had to remove scale from the tap in the kitchen (80% of the tiny holes on the tap was fouled), the floor, the kitchen table & the bathroom cabinet were not clean either + curtains were washed probably 6-12 months ago...
Wifi is slow/not working - which is important if you would like to plan your next day program/trips on the island.
The cleaner came about 10 AM as we were still sleeping (since we didn't want to wake up earlier during our holiday season...), only once came back in the afternoon... ONLY ONCE... Which means, that rubbish bans - included with the one in the bathroom, in which you have to throw the used toilet papers in Greece - were emptied out ONCE in 8 days/7 nights.
The only good point that it's on the edge of Sidari, therefore quite peaceful.
I don't recommend it at all. According to my expectations this apartment is not clean enough.

Basic apartments and thought 10 euro per night for air con was a bit much. Hosts ok but did not see much of them. A good 20 minutes walk to the main part of sidari. Sorry but would not stay here again. 

Watch out for air con costs

As a regular visitor to Greece for over 20 years I think I'm pretty confident I know what to expect when staying in accommodation.   Saying that I mean all Greece travellers will know that you do tend to get pretty basic digs.  After arriving at the apartments at 3am the four of us just dropped our bags and went to bed.   On first inspection in the morning the apartment seems reasonably ok apart from the fact that the 1 room didn't have balcony access only a window, needless to say this would become an issue for 4 adults staying together for 2 weeks.  It meant that if one of the guest in the room without balcony access was up first they had to sit in the very dark grubby kitchen until the others surfaced.  Over the first week on closer inspection it became apparent that these apartments although maybe once quite nice haven't had any money spent on them for some time.  There was a very old iron kettle that you needed to boil on the electric hob which took over an hour (hope you don't like a quick cuppa in the morning) when I asked if we could have an alternative kettle as this one also left grit in the bottom of your drink I was told no there weren't any others and the make would clean it.  (the grit continued!)  A friend gave us some fresh egg towards the end of the first week so we decided to give breakfast a go only to find once cooked we only had 3 knives so we have to share.  We only had 1 large stewing pan and a very small old frying pan that everything stuck to.  1 old wooden fork and 1 old wooden spoon.  The combo cooker type thing (again ancient) grilled your bread but had no handle so when trying to extract the pan you run the risk of first degree burns (so a towel required as no oven glove) on the subject of burns the kettle handle swings when you poor so the metal can easily touch your skin and burn (this is happen to one of us).   The table in the kitchen is screwed to the wall on one side so you can only get 3 people around it (at a squeeze!!) so eating on the balcony is best although its virtually too narrow to sit 4 people around the table comfortably (its so narrow) The crockery is plastic so don't attempt to try an keep anything warm why you are preparing the rest of the food (due to complete lack of facility) as they will melt.  The furniture in the rooms is old so good luck with trying to open a drawer and then close it without having to walk it in from side to side (very noisy, not good for the neighbours) Oh the mattress was actually quite good compared to the bored you usually get, BUT covered in plastic so your sheet has a mind of it's own in the night unless your a non mover.  It was clean but the sheets have seen better days very thin.  Walls had damp patches when it rained.  On the 2nd week we found a 5th guest staying in our apartment (little mouse) Don't get me wrong I know these little things can get in anywhere so it's no easy to deal with them but after finding it and evicting it.  We followed the trail of mouse poo it had left and it was everywhere.  In the cupboards in the bedroom drawers etc.  Obviously this little chap had been around for a while.  We did politely mention it to the owner he said I don't know what you want me to do about that, leave your doors closed.  Well an offer to get the cleaner in and clean up the droppings would have been a start and maybe the offer of an attempt at mouse poison???  I mean hygiene what hygiene.   Bathroom OLD and tired again I know don't expect much in Greece but the every day wrestle with the shower head whilst trying to wash hair and body is not good.  A few euros for a shower head holder wouldn't break the bank surely??  The pool is lovely really clean a nice area to sit and enjoy your holiday, as long as you don't want refreshments.  You aren't allowed to take your  own food or drink by the pool.  (Go to the pool bar and buy it, you tight Brit) I hear you shout, Um. It's closed and I am reliably informed it has been for a couple of years.  You can however apparently shout up to the restaurant, also owned by the owners, if you want something just get off your sun bed partly wander up the dirt track a bit so they can see you and shout across the road!!!  I don't think so!!! Find yourself one of the free pools and pool bars  near by nice and entertaining and a stones throw from your sun bed.  So no pool bar (despite it being advertised and pictured) and no WiFi (Also advertised as being available in the pool bar).  They get around this by trying to lure you into their restaurant (I assume this is what the lack of self catering facilities are also about).  The thing is non of us want to cook a 3 course meal but if they just simply provide a basic electric kettle (which would take less power to boil and much quicker) and appropriate basic kitchen wear it would help,  All in All potentially lovely apartments but needs a good re vamp.

Self Catering Apartments - What A Joke!!!!

During our stay there where several issues starting with our greeting on arrival. When we where still getting our cases off the coach I was being grilled by the owners wife as to why we where so late, where we delayed, was our transfer on time... When trying to explain I had emailed the owner to advise him of our late arrival she quickly ushered us down a dark unlit drive up some stairs and into our room rushed us for our holiday voucher then left.

Secondly utensils, self catering you must be joking, we only cook a bit of chicken and pasta, make sandwich or have cereal for breakfast although only two of these where possible until we purchased our own utensils!!!!!! Then there's the kettle, which goes on the hob, they do not have electric kettles at all at the appartments so not only does it take 20 minutes to boil you also scold yourself when picking it up by the handle which leans of the side of the hot kettle!!! The micro oven, a size which I would expect for a self catering apartment the problem with this was how disgustingly filthy it was, ten minutes with oven cleaner surely that's all it would have taken before our arrival! 

The Mosquitos, after having purchased several bottles of fly spray we though we had finally got rid of them all, who where we to kid as the cleaner decided to open our bathroom window everyday I put a sign on the window asking for it to be left closed but again this was ignored, it took for me to put a sign over the lock politely asking for this to be left shut for us to be listened to!!!!

The bathroom, this would get soaked everyday, no proper shower cubical and nowhere to hang the shower head, problems which don't actually affect your holiday to much as you get used to it. But the lack of hot water, or should I say no hot water in peak holiders showering times!!! When going over to tell the owners he was none impressed that I had not waited until the next morning to tell him, his response to me for complaining was that I was rude and what could he do about it at 7pm!!!!!!!!!! Whilst stipulating he does not run a 24 hour reception, although he did advertise 24 hour hot water.  Also if you want to shower in privacy then make sure the windows closed our next door will see you in your glory as the window goes onto someone else's balcony!!!!

Wires across the bedroom from the tv to the plug socket, a danger for a adult never mind a child!!!
Having been concerned one of us would get caught on it the safest thing was to unplug it and wrap the wire safely up. 

The pool bar, what pool bar yes there is a bar area that is not shocked and is not maned at any point in the day, however if you want a drink by the pool you have to walk down the drive along the road and into the restaurant that is "connected" to the apartments. 

Which brings me onto the wifi in public areas... Or should I say the lack of wifi.. The only wifi that is here is in the restaurant down the road, and as it is a self catering apartment it is not somewhere I would use. So the advertisement of wifi is extremely incorrect it does not reach the poolside, nor the pool bar and especially not any rooms!!!

The car park, I mean waste land at the side of the hotel which is currently for sale and not lit at all, extremely unsafe!!!!

My overall feeling about this hotel, the best part of it was when we left to go out everyday!! I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here what I would recommend is you change your hotel!!! It's a 25 minute walk into sidari although there is some lovely restaurants a 10 min walk away. Would I stay here again never, especially with the extremely rude owners!!!! 

And finally, when your have a chat with your neighbours on holiday surely it shouldn't be about what else is wrong in the hotel and how rude the owners are? Well that's mostly what we chatted about!!!! The biggest shock of all was hearing the neighbours telling the owner they had found mice droppings in there kitchen cupboard and his response being what do you want me to do about it!!! Think about it would you want to stay here??? 

Take me advice don't stay here!!!
