The ALS is a budget hotel, no pool or sun deck, but it is situated between the two main beaches, both 100m, and close to the main bar area and the shops and cafes. It is a short walk to old town. The rooms are clean and tidy, basic and OK, TV with English and Greek channels, fridge. They gave me a kettle free. Most rooms have a sea view, a view of Turkey across the water, palm trees in front of the hotel! Breakfast is part cooked and part buffet; scrambled eggs, sausages, boiled eggs, plus buffet usual. The staff and very helpful and friendly, and there were no loud English tourists here, mostly Europeans.
