Great accommodation and reasonably priced.
Rooms and surroundings were spotless clean and apartment fully equipped with all necessities.

Very Nice Apartment Hotel In Plakias

Nothing but excellence!
A fantastic experience that caused us to extend our stay in Plakias from the planned 2, to 5 days.
Sofia was the most hospitable and helpful manager we can across in our 2 week stay in Crete. She even drove us and other guests to a concert in nearby Souda on a Friday evening!
Our apartment was modern, cleaned daily & had all you needed for a beachside stay. 
The bathroom had an enclosed shower, with good water flow & temperature and also a backlit mirror over the vanity basin.
The kitchenette was functional, with fridge, cooktop, kettle and all cutlery & crockery provided.
There was also a sofa bed in the living area, which we didn't use.
Our balcony area was almost as big as the apartment itself (which was huge!) and was complete with 4 sunbeds, 2 tables & chairs & clothesline and overlooked the port area.
While the location was very central and a 1 minute walk to shops, the beach & restaurants, it was very quiet and peaceful.
Highly recommended, but be warned... You may stay longer than you planned!!

Let's start talking about Sofia, the manager and owner of Limani Apartments.
She is a very kind person, always helpful and willing to support the guests needs.
She also manages Ariadne Studios and Olive Grove Studios, so she will easily find a good solution for you !
I have stayed both in Limani Apartments (right in the sea-center) and in Ariadne Studios (3 minutes walk from the sea).
Limani is more a hotel, you get breakfast and you have a reception, while Ariadne is a place with studios, no breakfast.
I think that in Ariadne rooms are larger: all rooms have recently been renewed and are equiped with a nice bathroom and kitchen so you can prepare your own breakfast and food. 
Everything is very confortable and new, all rooms in Ariadne have a balcony with a table to eat outside.
Once we had a problem with water in the bathroom and they immediately solved the problem fixing it.
Rooms are also very clean.
Sofia will also give you a discount for her souvenir shop, Kelari, and also a discount for having breakfast in a sea-front cafè.
I recommend this as an excelent solution in Plakias !!!

Limani, Ariadne and Olive Grove: best locations in Plakias !

The rooms were cleaned everyday and the towels and sheets were changed frequently. The balcony was very large although the view from our top floor studio overlooked the rooftops of Plakias with the sea behind. The location was convienient and quiet. The cooker and fridge were good and the utensils were adequate (almost all studios in Greece have very limited kitchen utensils!). The water was sometimes a little erratic but always flowed hot if you waited a few minutes. Sophia was pleasant and helpful. If you are looking for good value studios then consider the Ariadni.

In the small  town of Plakias you'll find a wonderful low keyed place to vacation, that is if you are trying to avoid big resorts. Hotel Limani is maybe 100 yards from the beach but set back away from traffic. The family run accomodations are spacious, clean and bright, with great views! We were there the last week in May 2004 and really enjoyed the beach, the restaurants and lovely Sofia who runs the traditional Cretan shop.
You might not want to end your vacation!  The cost of rooms and food is very affordable!  The town is a 30 minute drive to the larger  northern, more populated cities of Crete. So... we took day trips and happily returned to Plakias. Hotel Limani site:
