We stayed here as a family in August 2023.

The hotel reception and guest relations personnel were consistently cordial and of great assistance.

The hotel's design is utterly breathtaking - comfortable and lot of plants and shade, very clean and carefully maintained.  Our room was beachfront oriented. It was spacious, providing ample area for storage. Rooms were very clean; neither dust nor grit were present. Each room features a television equipped with an extensive selection of channels and pertinent hotel details. Drinks and snack were refilled daily.

The choice of food and drinks in the restaurant was diverse, food was delicious and adapted to fulfill eating habits of tourist coming from different European countries. Staff we encountered was cordial and eager to assist.

The shore is adjacent to the hotel and is immaculate. At the far right end of the proprietary beach one can rent many of the water sport equipment (jet ski, pedalo, SUP board, jet nozzles, etc...) All-inclusive guests are entitled to a gratis 1/2 hour of pedalo or stand up paddle board. Nearby beach bar offers a variety of snacks, ice creams and drinks. Nearby pool was spotless.

Beach is cleaned every night. You get beach towels in the room and effectively change it every day by just leaving them at the cleaning ladies. Minor issue is "reservation" of loungers. Some guests leave their belongings early morning and appear at the beach quite later which I think for the hotel price range is not acceptable.

All in all, would be happy to come again here with my family.


An excellent hotel

The hotel's design is absolutely stunning: lots of plants and airy and overall the place is well kept.
We stayed here as a family in a sharing pool room. The room had a good size, lots of space for storage. There could be a few more hangers in the room. Cleaning was perfect, no dust or sand in the rooms. Every room has a tv with lots of channels and hotel information.
The beach is really next to the hotel, very clean and with lots of loungers.
Staying in an all inclusive package, you can book a pedalo every day for 20 minutes for free.
The hotel is rather small, not crowded, very well suited for families.
The service at the bars and restaurants was very good, veryeone you meet is very nice and ready to help.

Food was ok, the menu would change every day, but felt a bit repetitive after some time.

Travelers need to be aware that the hotel is in the middel of nowhere, no shops or restaurants around. The hotel offers free shuttels to the 2 nearby cities, which quite frankly are not so nice or interesting.

The things that bothered us the most, and other guests, was that sunloungers at the pool were reserved quite early in the morning and guest would only show up in the late afternoon (or not at all).  This meant that when arriving at 8-9, there was no place left. This would happen regularly. 
We saw some guests complaining, but the hotel only gave them the excuse that people would leave their private stuff and that they couldnt do anything. Frankly, this is not true, we stayed at other places where the no-reservation rule was enforced and things were removed from the loungers.
A hotel of that standard should enforce this rule.

Entertainment was also quite dull, there were only a few evenings with live music. However the cocktails were very nice.
We absolutely loved the spa and can only recommend getting a treatment.

The hotel staff at reception and guest relations were truly helpful and always friendly.


Wonderful hotel with some flaws

We stayed here last week, first time in Greece and so glad we picked here. Absolutely the best holiday we've ever had. The staff are amazing, every one of them. Special thanks and mention to Vladka, Christina and Christos in the Restaurant and Sofia at Reception. The food is varied, hot and very tasty, the rooms, as all the resort are immaculate. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is very good. There is nothing at all negative to say about Portes Lithos, can't wait to go back. Thank you, Giannis you have a great team and should be proud of every one, see you next year x

Best Holiday Ever 

Fortunately this hotel was able to accomodate us at very short notice after our visit to the Pelion was cancelled 3 days before our flight because of a storm causing serious damage to the area. The first alternative we had booked was something of a disaster so we didn’t stay but this was a calm oasis . 
It was beautifully kept, everything spotlessly clean  including the beach.
The staff were without exception delightful, particularly the restaurant staff, under the supervision of the eagle eyed restaurant manager Yiannis.
The food in our opinion was excellent, well prepared and so tasty. The only slight negative were the jams at breakfast weren’t up to the standard of the honeycomb honey.
It would be nice if the a la carte restaurant was open in the evenings as we don’t like to eat much at lunchtime.
We took the all inclusive package which we considered to be good value.
Not a particularly interesting area but a good starting point for exploring Haldikiki.
For us, definitely 5 star.


Good value 5 star experience .

We stayed here with Jet2, as part of a package, for 11 nights. 
Some parts were excellent, some not so good. Firstly, the hotel is not near anywhere within walking distance. You have a caravan/camping ground just up the road, this has a small mini market. There is the Hotel Lithos beach a little further, but that's it. No other shops, no tavernas/restaurants, only at the places mentioned. Nea Portidea is the nearest small town. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus three times a day, twice a  week to there. Only in the daytime though, last bus back at 14:30.  Nea Moudania is just a little further, again, the hotel has a shuttle bus to here, three times a day for three days a week, the last one returning at 14:30. Both towns are worth a visit, and the 3 hours you have in town is plenty of time. 
The beach is lovely, not Caribbean lovely, Greek lovely, that means you will encounter shingles and rocks and plastic rubbish somewhere along it, although the bit outside the hotel is kept very tidy. There always seemed to be plenty of loungers and umbrellas whenever we walked along there. The best walk was turning right as you faced the sea, along to the red sandstone cliffs, although they seem to be falling in places. Turning left just takes you past more holidaymakers, soaking up the sun, from the caravan park and the other hotel nearby.
The hotel room we stayed was a Beach front loft suite. Very nice it was too. The Jet2 brochure, and the hotel website claim these rooms have the following facilities, and lists a few including "Mini Bar, replenished daily"*
The asterisk is simply to let you know there is a local charge for the mini bar. On our arrival, we had a large bottle of still water, and an empty mini bar. On enquiring at reception, we were told "only those on All Inclusive get a mini bar"! Oh well, they don't make that clear on the web, nor do Jet2. 
The room was huge, on two levels and quiet, with no noise from neighbours. Downstairs was the living area, which could be used as a sleeping area for two guests, with plenty of storage drawers and cupboards. Upstairs was the main bedroom, with a Queen sized bed and a place to hang your clothes and a couple of bedside tables with drawers. There was a shower room and separate toilet on both levels. The rooms were cleaned every day, just not at the same time, but they were cleaned. There was a balcony facing the sea, with a table and two chairs. Upstairs, there was the terrace, a very large terrace with two loungers, two deck chairs and a table, as well as a potted tree! This area was huge, although we could see that not all the roof terraces were quite as large as ours. It was brilliant.
The restaurant was what let this place down for us, but I recognise not necessarily everyone will agree with why we thought it was a let down. 
There are three areas to eat. One outside, near the pool, fine if you are a smoker. The other two are just inside, one area had very bright, stark lighting, wooden tables and chairs and the feel rather more of a canteen than a restaurant, the other area was just next door, with more subdued lighting, nicer chairs and dark tables, but the air conditioning didn't seem to work in this area, but the windows opened. This was our preferred area, mainly because, outside and in the bright canteen, was where the babies and toddlers were, (although they also came into the quieter place) Now we booked this holiday for when the children had gone back to school after the summer holidays. It's what we do, we don't want to holiday with chidren, usually we stay at Adults Only hotels, but there are very few of these in Greece. We hadn't accounted for screeching babies and pre school toddlers running around causing mayhem! They cause mayhem, one poor waitress almost toppled over an unsupervised toddler in the canteen, and dropped her tray of dirty dishes! s far as we were concerned, this wasn't good. I know you can't discriminate and have separate areas for children, can you???
Noise aside, the food was actually not too bad. Plenty of choices, especially salads and fruits. There was themed nights, e.g. Mexican, Asian, Greek/Mediterranean and so on. The food wasn't always hot, but I don't think we wasted any, it was usually quite tasty. We were only half board, so I have no idea what lunch was like, but breakfast and dinner was good.
We only used the rooftop bar a couple of times, and never stayed for the entertainment, it wasn't our thing, but at least there was something going on, most nights.
The staff in the restaurants were excellent, they worked very hard and efficiently, especially under sometimes some difficult circumstances.
We wouldn't stay at this hotel again, purely because of the baby/toddler situation, we'll stick with adults only and if that means Greece is off the list, so be it, but if you like the noises babies make when you want a quiet dinner (or breakfast) then this place could be ideal for you.

We spent an week in Portes lithos Luxury Resort. We had a very friendly welcome. Thes staff was very pleasant and our room spotlessly clean. Half board and our breakfast very good. We recommend 100% thank you for all

Best views, Amazing Holidays

Positive: new hotel, with a modern design, spacious rooms (we used Loft Suites), daily cleaning in private and public spaces, friendly staff, generally polite young people, drinks and food are at the level of the hotel's stars, covered parking (there are 3 zones  , one of them covered).
Negative: no organized children's entertainment, there is availability for water sports, the entrance to the sea with stones and very deep between 1.5 m-3 m from the shore, after which it is fine.

Good choice, quality of services and price

From the staff, the hotel, the amenities..everything was perfect.
Incredible clean, delicious food, lovely beach, pool, everything!!!
Is the first time in Greece this year (and I travelled quite a few) when I was lucky to encounter Greek hospitality!!!!

Amazing holiday!!!

An amazing hotel. Beautiful setting with excellent friendly staff. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for somewhere special to stay. I went in a group of 9 altogether and we all enjoyed our stay. The food was exceptional, I have stayed in many all inclusive hotels and none have come near to this standard. All the drinks are premium brand and not like some paint stripper you get at other hotels. We went with children and they food something to eat and even when there wasn't something, the chef would whip something up. 
Haremas Ioannis couldn't do enough for our party always going that extra step for us. From reserving our table to filleting the fish. All the staff were friendly, helpful and always with a smile.
My only gripe was the lack of entertainment during the day and the evening. We did go out of season I suppose but it could have been alot better. 
Would love to go back to this hotel.

Stunning hotel, would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful hotel to stay at.

The sea-side view is exquisite. The rooms were very clean. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast and dinner were tasteful.
There is a spa center where you can get the best massage and a great facial treatment.
