Hotel Anixis Resort

We loved our stay in Naxos and were so happy we stayed at this hotel. The hotel was perfectly located within walking distance to beach (2 mins), shops (5 minutes) and multiple dining options at the port (10 mins).

The hotel was incredibly clean and the staff were very friendly, but their English was very limited. The amenities were basic but for such a low price the hotel was better than we could have hoped for. One day I hope to return to Naxos and will surely return to this hotel.

This is just the cutest studio hotel!! I was so happy with my experience staying here for 5 nights. The staff was so friendly and helpful and kept everything so so clean!! We came with a big group and they were so accommodating with our rooms, keeping us next to each other and always ready to help when we needed it ( calling for a taxi, helping with directions , wifi etc).

The rooms are simple & have everything you need - great A/C, good water pressure and are clean! Love the balconies too - look outside you see St. George Beach! 

Walk up the street and your in the main circle - a little further and you've reached the port area with all the restaurants, shopping and bars on the water :)

This is definitely my go-to whenever I visit Naxos - I can't wait to go back :)

During my last night on the island, I spent a peaceful, comfortable night at Hotel Anixis Resort.  The room--as you can see from my photo--is very clean, comfortable, and spacious.  I was surprised to read that some people didn't like this place.  It's a no-frills hotel, although for the price, you get a great deal.  Unlike some of the other reviews I've read, this hotel *does* have free internet.  If you are looking to spend a few quiet nights in a simple family run hotel, I definitely recommend this place.

If you reserve a room here, you need to tell the hotel when you are coming, as there is only someone at the front desk in the evening and morning.  Bear in mind that this hotel is *not* the same hotel as Hotel Anixis, which is on the other side of town on the mountain.  The owners are the same, but the two hotels are very far apart.  Some of the staff does not speak English, so have your Greek phrasebook handy or translate app ready.  That being said, the staff is super friendly, welcoming, and will do whatever they can to help you.

Some people believe to a good start so we took  half price  ferry  tickets in www.cheapis.gr ( GOLDEN FERRIES - port of Rafina ) on July 12  and in few hours,very  close to Mykonos island we arrived at the most wonderful hellenic island  Naxos . The hotel staff pick us from the port free and they gave us a very comfortable room with excellent view near the sea of Agios Georgios ( extremely good and unbelievable price ) ,only 1 minute distance from the beach ,tavernas,cafe ,shops and greek amusement . Also in the room we had a complet kitchenette but ok we prefered to eat delicious feta mousaka souvlaki greek salad  horiatiki kalamarakia etc outside near the beach .It was very convinient ,near the old town of Naxos and the famous castle only 5 minutes on foot so every night we were in Chora the town of Naxos ,Portara and in the castle . Mrs Maria was many hours to the hotel and was helping everyone who needed something from towels or information for the island excursions or day trips to another islands like Koufonissia . The 10 days passed very quickly so I need to go again as soon as possible to continue this dream and explore more places that we missed go ( many good drinks how to get up early ??? ) I wish to have again an experience like this !!!

Simple, clean, pretty, friendly, comfy beds, amazing location perfect for beach, port and centre if town.

Extremely cheap, basic service but great value for money. Nice area.

Run by a couple that don't speak much English but are very friendly, their son was very good in English, very efficient in answering emails and very kind to pick us up from the port (not far to walk but a bit complicated to find!).

Only negative point is that the wifi signal is not very strong and doesn't always work in the furthest rooms.

Would thoroughly recommend to all if you are looking for good basic accommodation.
