From booking to leaving it was the perfect holiday! 

Booked through booking.com and had frequent communication with Sophia who was lovely and very helpful. As promised the taxi to pick us up was waiting, hassle free and friendly. When we arrived the owner was there to greet us and felt so relaxed and homely. The room was brilliant with access onto a patio and straight to the pool. Only notes on the room is that the tv- although smart- couldn’t play streaming as it didn’t have the apps or even online the updates weren’t sufficient enough to play. No international stations either so couldn’t watch anything. The shower was a little small but these are just picky points and in no way ruined our stay. 
The pool was glorious with lovely sun beds, relaxing music and a wonderful atmosphere. 
A short walk away is nissos beach. Part of the hotel and was lovely with lively atmosphere in the day and relaxing in the evenings.
I could go on with praise about every aspect of this hotel but it’s good to leave some surprises to the next visitor. I’d just like to thank all the hotel staff for a wonderful week! Especially Angelos (sorry if that’s spelt wrong) he’s a credit! We will be back! Thank you!

Perfect! 

Lovely hotel. Air con works well. Staff couldn’t have been better, we even checked out late as we overslept but they was so friendly and ok about it. The hotel and pool is nice and quiet but the helpfulness and friendly staff are what makes it. We particularly enjoyed chatting to the guy who works at night… he actually told us to be quiet as we was drinking and making too much noise but was so polite and kind about it, he ended up chatting to us for a while. Really good for couples and family’s looking to relax in a safe, kind environment.

Amazing service, Alexander was super helpful and friendly made us feel very chilled. Service was also fast compared to other places in the area. Would 100% recommend and the food was delicious, very good prices for quality of food

Verrrry nice,beautiful & chill hotel ,hidden in the center of Malia. The pool, flowers and of course palmtrees make it just perfect!

Nice rooms with large space outside. Only 1min walk to the beach.

Amazing hotel!

We booked our holiday to Crete with this hotel over 3 months in advance, we were really looking forward to stay at this place as the pictures looked great, the pool area especially and the fact that they had their own private beach. The reviews and ratings were great, it all seemed perfect. 

I almost fell out of my chair the morning when I received a message that our hotel booking with Drossia Palms has been cancelled by them, literary 4 days before our arrival to Malia. Complete shock and disbelief. 

We frantically had to find something else in the same location. Luckily we did, but that meant extra cost for booking another hotel. We were meant to get our money back for this cancellation in the next 7- 12 days. Well, today is the 12th day and I still have not received anything. Seriously? Well, thanks very much for shortening our holiday budget! I'm absolutely disgusted with how we were treated.

The amount of stress we went through is the last thing you want before the start of your holiday. I thought I'm gonna have a heart attack when I saw that we were cancelled. And the reason? No reason, they haven't even given us one, neither did they replied to our messages, just radio silence. We did our booking via booking.com, so perhaps they are to blame here a bit as well. How can you do that to people? Especially that we booked it so much in advance.
