We chose these apartments for their location as we were getting an early ferry to Kalymnos. Although dated our apartment was clean and comfortable with very good air conditioning. Our only issue was an unpleasant smell coming from the shower room but we were only staying one night so we didn't report it.

Property perfectly sited in heart of Mastichari. Welcome at airport by Michael and son. No criticism whatsoever as they made us feel welcome. Problem is with the local authorities who for many years have allowed the area around the pier to smell strongly of raw sewage. I feel very sorry for owners such as Michael who, try their best but seem to be hampered by a local authority who do not care.

This hotel is right on the water as you walk off the boat at the port of Mastichari.  It was so convenient. The manager came to us with a key immediately!  He was awesome!

Great for overnight stay

This is a basic but clean apartmrnt in a good location on the flat opposite the sea.  Only a very short walk to beach with nice tavernas.  We didnt use the kitchen area much but great to have a kettle and fridge

We booked these apartments, knowing exactly what to expect , and for their great  location close to everything. It didn,t matter that they were not directly on the beach, as you have beaches to the left and right of you within less than a five minute walk. And who needs a Swimming Pool when, you have  such a fabulous Beach to swim from.
Angela Thalia apartments were very easy to book with Michael at Helios Travel , the handling Agent for Marietta and Tony who own the apartments,  named after their Daughters Angela and Thalia, and despite our luggage taking over an hour to appear at Kos Airport , Michael,  was there waiting to take us on the short 15 minute journey to the apartments. They are traditional in style, with plenty of space, we had nos 24 and nos 26 , which  are the middle two Ground floor apartments ( with only 8 apartments in the block, not quite sure how they came up with the numbering system ? ) 
The apartments were clean, and the Shower adequate with a deep tray to avoid flooding everywhere, The Water was always hot when you needed it and mostly the water pressure good 
During our 7 night stay, the apartments were cleaned 3 times, with fresh Pillow cases, fresh sheets and fresh Towels, we had thought this would probably only happen Once.  Our friends apartment had a slight dripping noise from their air conditioning unit, and Michael had this fixed immediately. We had such fantastic service from Helios Travel and couldn,t fault any arrangement they made.


Harbour Front Apartments in just the ideal place

Stayed here for 5 nights last week, Fantastic time, from the moment I landed in kos I was really well looked after, nothing was too much trouble, the apartments are in a fantastic location, just a short walk to the front with lovely restaurants and bars, the apartment was basic don't expect 5-star Dubai apartments but the most important thing was cleanliness location and the excellent customer service which I don't think any Dubai Apartment could offer, thanks for a really nice relaxing break will definitely come back

Amazing Customer Service

We stayed here for two nights. The apartment is a bit dated but was very clean. We had two single beds and a bunk bed in the kitchen area. Air conditioning was good. The kitchen has the basics for self catering but there are lots of lovely restaurants on the door step. We loved watching the ferries come in. There is a beach only a few minutes walk away and sun bed hire is cheap. For the price we paid it was an excellent deal. The staff at Helios travel, where we rented it from,  were very helpful.

Good low cost apartment

Stayed 2 nights at the start and end of an island hopping trip. Excellent location and very convenient for the ferries, bus stop and taxis. Pleasant sea view and views across to Kalymnos. From the sea facing balconies you get both sunrise and sunset views.

There's a great little bakery around the corner which also sells water and milk, get there early for wonderful calorie - free bougatsa!! Good job they were sold out the 2nd time I called in.

Well equipped apartments with very effective air con and decent wi fi. Mossie machines and tablets supplied. Bottle of water in fridge on arrival at the start of my trip but not on return when I was dying of thirst! Plenty of hot water and well flushing loo!

Great place for a couple of nights stay but personally would prefer a beach view if I was staying longer.

Daughter who lives in the house behind the apartments was helpful and resolved minor issues quickly.

All in all a good stay.

As a general observation the cost of accomodation in Mastihari (not relating to Angela Thalia in particular) is significantly more expensive than that of a higher standard on other outlying islands, but then I suppose once you have factored in ferry fares it evens out a little.

Excellent location

I've stayed at these apartments many times but I don't think I've ever reviewed them - no idea why. 
This time we had two apartments on the ground floor (I didn't want my three year old grandson vaulting over the balcony). 
My son and his family had a large family room and I had the room next door. It was, as always, a very restful stay. We had a gift of Maria's chocolate cake twice - it is so delicious and this is something that she always makes for her guests. 
The rooms are cleaned regularly and sheets and towels changed every couple of days. We had a filter coffee maker in the large family room and plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses and cups. 
It's a place where you could sit on the balcony all day (well I could). It is opposite the ferry port and there are regular departures and arrivals, which make for an interesting view as well as convenient - you can leave your balcony when you see the ferry turn up if you're off to Kalymnos. 
I'm staying again in October - my third time this year. 
There's a bakery in the street behind the apartments and it's a short stroll to the beach - very convenient.

Another delightful stay.

Myself and my family have stayed at these apartments for 10 days for the last two summers. The location is ideal, facing the harbour with the beautiful views of the sea and close by islands. It is minutes from the beach, restaurants and many bars where the local people are very friendly and hospitable. The welcome we receive every year from the owners is lovely. They are very friendly and extremely helpful , especially when they drove me with daughter to the nearby chemist when she was not well. The apartments are always clean, with good shower and basic kitchenette, a/c for the bedroom and a balcony ( all apartment balconies face the sea). I would highly recommend this accommodation for families as it is close to the buzz of Mastichari village but just off the beaten track for quiet evenings/ nights...
