Paris was the excellent host and very helpful. 
Rooms were comfy and clean and all floors are wheelchair accessible with an elevator 
Right next to the port for international ferries (with the one with customs not the ones working nationwide )
We did not used but they also have a safety locker service for everyone.

The owner of this place is racist and omophobic. I was there for one night. He saw my black gay friend staying with me and he insulted us, than he said that african people should not come to Greece because they bring coronavirus. He blocked us in his office in Achilleas appartament in Kos, telling that he would have called the police (but police didn't come of course) and avoiding us to leave. He let us free only after I asked for emergency help to the Italian embassy in Greece and to the Kos police department. horrible experience. fortunately, every greek persone is not like him. i will report him to the authorities and make a complaint with Booking.com that suggested the accomodation. i think he is a dangerous person. we were really scared and it have been terribile. i'm sad  and very disappointed because he ruined our last day of holidays.

Omophobic and racist place

Previous reviews from me and other guests give a good idea of the amenities of the hotel, so I shall try to restrict my review to important  advantages  of this hotel .

-It is situated right in front of the port , so one can reach the hotel door in 2 minutes after leaving the customs shed, since 2018.

-The sea view room balconies  offer view of Turkey, cruise ships, yachts ,the beaches (free sun beds)  and restaurants . You can check my reviews on main restaurants of Kos town.

-The rooms are well equipped for quick meal or breakfast, but since 2 years a recommendable cafe is available at the entrance of the hotel.

- The hotel owner Paris  and family  as well as Stratos are real treasures, so  do not hesistate to ask for information or help

Stayed at Achilleas more than 10 times

Location of the hotel is great,right next to ferries port on the Averof street which has the most popular restaurants and beaches in town,15 minutes walk to Eleftherias square.The owner Mr.Paris and his daughter Persephone are very kind,friendly and helpful,we liked them.A little noisy street,don't forget to close your windows at nights.

Nice location,nice family

Another wonderful stay at the Achilleas Hotel.  Again great apartment with sea view balcony and Paris and his staff very welcoming.  Great position for beach, restaurants, super markets and people watching.  Can't wait to go back next year.

Second Time Superb

Very professional and friendly staff, we had whatever we asked for. The hotel is located in a very good place and there is a big parking you can use for free. The room was comfortable and clean. We would definitely visit again.

The location was great, near the town center, next to the Port, and great view from the rooms. Handy kitchenette, bedroom with air condition and good wi-fi.. And he price is very reasonable for a hotel so central. The owner Paris very friendly and helping. Good breakfast too. I will definitely stay here if when I come again :)

Perfect place to stay

Booked this property on recommendations from here.  Was perfect for us - we had a room with a sea view and could watch the boats going out from the harbour every morning from the balcony.  The room was immaculate and air conditioning included.  The owner Paris is great, very helpful with local information.  Beaches and tavernas are just literally minutes away - we loved the Harem bar - very middle east theme - big floor cushions, hookah pipes and great food.  Most of the sunloungers on the beach are free as long as you buy a couple of drinks during the day.

Fantastic

A wonderful stay in the middle of Kos town.   At the seaside near the Port just next to a very big free parking area. The tavernas  are on the same street and the town center is just 5 minutes walk away. The owner is very friendly. He even gave us a box of cookie at the check out. Feels like we made a home stay in the middle of kos town. Room was clean enough, you can hear the sounds of taverna from outside feeling like you are realy in greece.👏👏
