Visited Corfu for a friend's birthday celebration and booked a one-bdr apartment right on the beach ( 7 nights). The top flr. spacious Aptm. had a (long) balcony with a lovely view of the beach.  
Aleka Merianou (the manager) was very friendly and helpful and always very cheerful and, it seems, always on duty; bedding and towels were changed after 3 days and garbage bins twice during our stay. The apartment was well equipped and even had mosquito repellent. We did not cook at all (continental Breakfast only).  Had dinner twice in Naftis Restaurant and had sunddowners once in the lounge. Here too, the service was excellent. 
The only drawback was the very, very steep road down to the apartments and restaurant (no problem if you love steep, narrow roads which my partner does). In my opinion, a SMALL car is essential. Perfect for a beach holiday and we would recommend these apartments without hesitation.

Corfu Birthday Celebration

Lovely location, Naftis apartments are just above Pelekas beach, we had 2 balconies, they were vey spacious. The apartments need to be completely updated, the furniture in there was very old and not aesthetically nice to look at. The bathroom needs to also be replaced, you can barely get in there, our apartment didn’t have a walk in shower, you had to step up into a very narrow bath, not ideal unless your quite agile!!
We stayed for 10nights, the sheets were changed twice, however don’t expect your apartment to be cleaned, this does not happen, you will get your bin emptied and nothing more, this must be the only place iv stayed where there was no cleaning done, we expected more.
Aleka was not there to greet us, we weren’t informed that you have to find her down in the beach bar/cafe, thankfully our lovely taxi driver called a few phone numbers and then we were able to get into the apartments, maybe guests should be told this? She did say she was always busy!!!
We didn’t hire a car for out trip, as we don’t like to drive around, we would rather  taxi take us too places, however please be warned that a taxi trip 1 mile up to the town will set you back €40 each way, personally I would call this little more than robbery!!! I just thought I would let future guests know this, as if we had known, we wouldn’t have stayed here. 
The beach is really lovely with  shallow  water, it does get very crowded at weekends by the locals, if you want a peaceful beach holiday this isn’t the place for you, however saying this, if you have children it’s perfect for you.
The hills that you have to climb to walk anywhere are the steepest ever, so please take this into consideration. There is a little supermarket about a 15 minute uphill walk that sells most things that you might need. 
Restaurant to visit within walking distance are Bella vista, Tortuga(the hotel next door) , you will need to book in advance for this one, the food is sublime, you won’t be disappointed if your a foodie like us. A lovely beach bar to the left called The Edge is a must, amazing cocktails and very peaceful. 
All said and done we had a lovely time at Pelekas beach , but because of the hospitality and the very steep hills we wouldn’t return.

Lovely location

We stayed here for two weeks in August and it was a marvellous stay. Good price, far away from the world, quiet and beautiful nature all around. We booked a studio which had a large bedroom with the largest bed I ever slept in, another large room as a living and kitchen altogether. Two superb balconies and a splendid sea view. We lived on the balconies, I can say. Very clean, the bed sheets and towels were changed every three days, the beach right in front of the small hotel. Very comfortable because their restaurant is also at the bottom of the stairs which are only a few and easy to climb. There are many wonderful details around, grapes hanging, flowers, tomatoes growing in the sun and the song of the cockerels in the morning. Two sunbeds in front of the hotel and an umbrella are 7 euros. There is a boutique 10 minutes away ( a little bit to climb up and down) and from there you can buy all you need. The communication between us and the owner was excellent and very fast. You can arrive at Naftis apartments by taxi, one way  40 euros. Thank you very much for this very relaxing, awesome and perfect holiday!

Simple and beautiful!

We have just spent a week in naftis apartments and are sad to be leaving today as we have had such a great time. We have been visiting the island for many years and wish we had stayed here before as it’s so lovely - simple but comfy apartment - wonderful sea view to wake up to each day - great bar by the beach and many lovely places to visit close by.
The staff in particular are outstanding, going out of their way each day to look after guests and make their holiday experience the best specifically the “beach team” who keep everything so clean and tidy and are always friendly and helpful😊we will be back!

Long awaited holiday!

We lived in Pelekas Monastery but had lunch here 5x, and were not disappointed a single time! Nice view, fresh and tasty food and fruits, and nice staff and good service. A bit pricy but considering the view and the few options in the area and the high quality of the food, totally ok! Thank you Naftis :)

Amazing view and nice food

Went gere for some drinks and stayed for the view.
1a food and drinks! So nice! We highly recommend the dessert (chocolate souffle). We were given a free plate with fruits after and it was more than delicious 😍 really an authentic corfiotic restaurant.

Cocktails

we visited naftis restaurant many times while on our family holiday in pelekas. the staff were really helpful, friendly and hardworking. customer service was quick and food was lovely. all prices matched all of the other restaurants along the beach so it worked out at an average priced family dinner. as stated before, all of the food was amazing and fresh. there is definitely something for everyone. all visits were an enjoyable family time out! great view of sunset in the evening and great cocktails and bar service while on the beach.

is excellent! We have of course just tried a couple of dishes. Souvlaki, chicken etc. great tast, very friendly staff. You want some nice food by the beach. Just go there!

Also very close to the ocean and swimming.

Beach restaurant 

We had an afternoon here with family. 

Hotel and beach bar difficult to access with very narrow steep roads past the monastery. If you have the nerves, however, you can drive down to near the beach restaurant which is better than the adjoining beach clubs where you need to walk steeply up and down a hill.

The beach is sandy and water warm. They have fresh water showers and rinse taps for your feet before accessing the restaurant. Separate WC and changing rooms.

Food is Greek and international. Includes kids menu. Mediocre and over priced for what you get. Service is slow. They do accept credit cards.

You can rent rides on boats etc. on the beach.

We were able to get umbrellas and chairs at 2 pm had we needed them but it was so hot we made the restaurant our base.
