Nice hotel and best animation team thansk for all :) we will definitely stop there again with my girlfriend,even the bartenders were always super willing to provide what was needed everything was great, thank you again

Nice hotel and perfect animation team

In fact we were there on August 2020. Wonderful location, beautyful Garden, nice staff (especially Diyan Giannis 😉💪) and good place to start trips around whole island. Close to wonderful Kournas Lake.

The hotel is very nice and intimate and has its own atmosphere.
The food was varied - although there were not too many guests at the hotel at that time.
Room okay - nice and clean.
The proximity to the beach and the sea as well as beautiful views of the surrounding area deserve a plus.
The animator, Smith, deserves praise. Despite the small number of guests, he tried to make our time as great as possible and he did it at 100%. Morning stretching, aqua-zumba, darts, water-polo, ping-pong and various evening animations made our time pleasant.
To sum up - the time spent in this hotel is very successful.

A nice holiday in a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere.

We spent a very pleasant seven days holiday in this hotel. We chose this for the location and the sandy beaches rather than pebble type found in other areas. Our personal experience turned out to be very good. 

Overall, it is a garden style bungalows hotel right on the beach, with a warm, friendly atmosphere and services that meet (and exceed) normal comfort requirements. 

LOCATION: 
*The hotel is situated in a diminutive resort, with a string of around ten hotels on the beach and shops, tavernas and apartments on the other side of the road. 
*It is next to Georgioupolis, a picturesque fishing village. Close by is Kournas Lake, Crete's only freshwater lake, worth a visit. 
*Right outside the hotel there is a bus station with regular buses to the towns of Rethymno and Chania. Car, scooter, bike rentals available nearby and also trips to other attractions on the island. 
*The location on the beach is excellent, with a wide portion of the beach belonging to the hotel and a long expanse in either direction, with beautiful views of mountains on the horizon. It's a great beach for families with children, as there is no sharp drop in the sea floor, the depth of the water is just right. 

AMENITIES:
*The umbrellas and sunbeds are free of charge and enough to accomodate all the residents and plenty of showers right on the beach to get yur salty water rinsed. 
*The pool is well sized, with a separate section for small kids, plenty of room for lounging around and a spectacular view of the sea. 
*Take into account, the beach is not sheltered so you get either very calm water or some waves, depending on the wind. All in all, the beach and pool area are worth more that the three star rating of the hotel. 
*wifi connection is basic

ENTERTAINMENT:
*there is early morning entertainment to get you moving (zumba, water aerobics ). You barely hear it if you just want to lounge outseide on the beach.
*there's some entertainment during evenings, people usually loved it, never seen anyone complain; it's long enough for people who like it and short enough not to annoy anyone and disturb the sleep
*the entertainer is a really hearty guy, very energetic and friendly, always greeting the customers

ROOMS:
*We arrived late in the evening and got a room above the reception area, closer to the entrance and thus the road. As we were specifically looking for quiet, we asked for a room with a different orientation and they were very accommodating, understood immediately what we needed and gave us another room in the middle of the complex. The rooms were pleasant, functional, clean, with upkept furniture, comfortable bed and modern bathroom. There is AC, a minifridge and desk as well as a Tv with programs in English, German, French and Central and East European channels. 
*When you want your room cleaned you just need to notify the reception, that's the very first thing they tell you. We just asked for a minor thing and the entire room was cleaned SPOTLESS. Frankly, we're not sure what others complained about, you just ask and it gets DONE.

The FOOD: 
*we got the all inclusive, as it was convenient and we did not know what was available locally. It is cafeteria style, self service (so yes, you would have to queue if it was crowded, was not the case with us), with a variety of local inspired choices at every meal and pretty much something for everybody. 
-breakfast - choice of cereals with milk or yoghurt, fresh bread and jams, eggs, pies, sausages, beans, tomatoes. 
-lunch and dinner - always three types of cooked meat dishes, cooked vegetable dishes, potatoes, rice, pasta, vegetarian and bolognese pasta sauce, a choice of salads, deserts, icecream, fruit and also a soup at dinner. 
*The food is freshly made, tasty and varied enough, even if I am a vegetarian I was ok. The tables are outside or in the restaurant areas with open folding doors. In the serving area mask and provided gloves are mandatory, so we felt at ease with the measures taken. 
*For people who are looking for a more gourmet experience or want to travel during the day, a good choice would be the halfboard, as there are PLENTY tavernas and cafes with local food close by, but also pizzerias and sportsbars. 

STAFF:
The staff are friendly and helpful, the managers super friendly and helpful

OVERALL:
we had all the conditions to relax, enjoy the sea, travel around and feel welcome and calm. I can deffinitely recommend this location if you like to start and finish the day on the beach, to relax with no pressure and no fuss and also if you want to see the tourist attractions on this side of the island.

Awesome location, friendly staff, nice beach and surroundings

kavros beach hotel was a great choice. beautiful sandy beach is close to the rooms. The hotel’s large swimming pool with bar offers typical Greek drinks, traditional cocktails and great service. The restaurant prepares great food and the children can enjoy delicious ice cream and fruit every day. During our stay, we rent a car and visite other places on the island. be sure to visit Lake Kournas, it was magical. many thanks we send to Mrs. Dimetra, Katarina and George, who have always been able to give us great advice and solve the need for our 1 year old daughter. (stroller, baby bed, late checkout) Thank you for a wonderful holiday. I recommend this family hotel to anyone who wants to know the real atmosphere of the Greek. Jakub Jana, Janička, Helena.

Best Vacation

We visited this beautiful hotel with the best view zero minute walk to the swimming pool,Restaurant,Beach,Super market even near to all bus stop to the two big city Rethmno and chania.The food is great,Fresh and hot,We saw fakiri show for the first time by zumba man,He is a very hard working animator with different show every night,Animation music play only during aqua zumba and during their evening show.We join during the animation club dance and macarena dance,My kids love the hotel club dance.Please we need the name of the club dance.The music is always low which we found not good.The music should play loud during zumba because this is our third time in all inclusive hotels and the music is always louder during zumba.We  bought kournas lake  train ticket from Sofie from animation team and the trip was fantastic,We recommend kournas lake to every one visiting this resort.I read two new post saying the animation is loud hahaha,We asked the animator why the music was low and he said because of next hotel.We always read review before visiting any country or hotels and the animation team guest recommendation on tripadvisor was super that was one of the reason we choose this amazing holiday.We recommend this hotel to every one if you love unic well organise animation programme.Entertainment team never push us to join in their activities which we found great.The only negative was a drunk man from Slovakia screaming to the animator during disco.THANKS FOR A GREAT  HOLIDAY AND SEE YOU IN SEPTEMBER  AGAIN,WE LOVE KAVROS BEACH RESORT.

Finally we are home after enjoying two amazine week in kavros beach resort Crete,We don't expect what we get during our holiday in kavros beach.The hotel look different from last season with new sitting area next to reception on top of a garden with beautiful view of kavros city and mountain,Part of the hotel is renovated to a beautiful glass bacony with view of the sea from our glass bacony.The sea is beautiful and calm.Pool and beach very clean,The hotel in general is very clean.The hotel manager is every where and ready to assist you with big smile on her face.No animation team this season as we enjoyed and participated in the hotel amazine zumba and fakir fire show last year'we understand the reason as we saw the responsible of animation team Smith and he explain to us'very nice man and he gave us ticket to kournas lake which add to our staying in kavros beach memory.The train worth taking and the trip is about an hour going and thirty  (30) minutes back,We eat in a family restaurant myth of the lake tervana during our stay in lake kournas.Kavros beach is in the center of kavros city with beautiful view of sea and mountain and one minute to Chania and Rythmno bus stop,I highly recomend this hotel,We will definitely visit again next season.Big thanks to this amazine people in kavros beach,Geoge,Smith,The hotel manager and the amazine girls at reception.
