Villa Martha

We stayed with Villa Martha for a week. We had an excellent stay, and we will recommend a room there for everyone who asks. Within walking distance to the city of Bentitses and the beach. It was a very clean room with fantastic hosts.

I stayed here with my daughter for 8 nights. The hosts are a lovely couple and so friendly and helpful.  Our room had a balcony with a wonderful view of the mountains and although close to the centre it was so peaceful.   Our room was cleaned every day and the villa was kept spotless.  Tea, coffee and cake was left for us and even a pot of homemade marmalade. 

 Benitses is a great base to see other parts of the Island and just a short walk from the villa is a choice of lovely restaurants the beach and supermarkets.  Although we hired a car for our stay, it is easy to get into Corfu Old Town by bus from the village. This was our first visit to Corfu and if we returned in the future, we would definitely choose Villa Martha again.

Lovely place,lovely hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Near the beach and some really good restaurants. Very clean room, gave us biscuits, jam and all the hot drink facilities.  Not one fault. Would 100% return!

As we only stayed in Benitses for 2 nights before going on to Paxos, we wanted something cheap and cheerful - just a place to sleep really. 

Paying only €30 a night we weren't expecting much, but the owners of Villa Martha were fantastic.

Firstly the taxi driver wasn't sure where it was, so he called ahead and the owner met us in town on his bike to guide the taxi driver to the door.

The room was clean and comfortable - hairdryer, tea and coffee and a bottle of water provided. The room had 2 balconies that, while not having a sea view did have an impressive view of the mountain behind us. 

The next day we spent at the beach, returning mid afternoon to shower, only to find the room had been cleaned excellently and the owners had left us a big piece of homemade cake and some homemade jam - a touch that took us completely by surprise and kept us fed on our boat trip the next day. 

All in all, we spent a lovely 2 nights in Villa Martha. If you're looking for a cheap but very good place to stay, I fully recommend it.

My self and husband stayed at Martha villas for 11nights we were met off our transfers by Durmetri to show us where to go and helped us with our luggage the villa was perfect for the both of us with everything you needed the view from our balcony was beautiful all landscaped garden area every morning I would wake up to little treats from Martha like cakes jams fruit and salads being left the room was spotless and cleaned every day with fresh towels they are the most loveliest couple you could meet and would highly recommend thank you Martha and Dermitru for a wonderfull holiday xxxx

I visited with my sister for a 4 night stay. Ideal location, peaceful, yet just a short walk to lovely bars, restaurants and beach. Immaculately clean and everything you need. Little treats, biscuits, tea, coffee, milk, water and home made jam.
I will definitely be returning.
We had a lovely veranda, mountain views.
