We returned to our Cretan Home and were greeted as my title says. A wonderful warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble even at the late hour we arrived. Lovely meal was provided but I couldn't do it justice having eaten quite a bit through the day. We were made so welcome By all the Family and assisted to our room. The Hotel as always was spotless the room fantastic the new bar, Pool area done to an amazing standard. We relaxed straight away feeling loved and important visitors to this Family Hotel. Kostas and Stelios are great and so Helpful ( Stelios makes the best Cocktails in Bali There wasn't one he couldn't make to perfection)  The whole staff are fantastic Elena and Angela work so hard and you feel tired just watching them, they never stop. Loukas is a great Chef and the food really nice. Mama and Papa as always on hand to make sure things are going well. The number of times I was sat at the bar area and pool through the day and would have a plate of Barbecued Treats placed in front of me, prepared by Papa. To keep my strength up! A truly Wonderful Hotel run by a wonderful Family. I cannot recommend this Hotel enough My friends and family have stayed here and had  great times and felt so welcomed they Coming back hopefully at the same time as us this time. I am counting down till we see our Bali Family again

Arrived home and greeted like the returning prodigal son

We were looking forward to spending two weeks here, as we enjoyed our previous stays here so much. We were not disappointed. We were shown to our previous room, ground level with patio overlooking the pool. Angela had prepared the room and welcomed us saying "welcome back to your Bali Home" and gave me a hug. Returning here is like staying with family. Kostas is welcoming and an amazing host. His English is amazing, and he can help with car hire, and general information about this stunning island. 

The beds are all memory foam and very very comfortable. Sheets changed every couple of days. Everything is sparkling clean, thanks to the very hard working Helena and Angela. The shower is amazing, multi jets, rain shower, always hot water. The decor in the rooms is modern, with lovely touches, starlight lighting in the ceiling. 

The pool is lovely, spotless and now has a Jacuzzi. The steps leading into the pool really help for the less mobile.
We spent many nights Sat by the bar, drinking the amazing cocktails made by Stelios, what a lovely young man, he truly is a cocktail magician! Great sense of humour too.
The bar and pool area are beautifully lit by changing lights and looks stunning.
All the decor is tasteful and looks very high end. 

The food is good, traditional cretin fare. Breakfast has a choice of cereals, fresh bread, gorgeous Greek yogurt and a hot buffet. There is the usual continental breakfast of cheese and meats also. The filo hot cheese pasties are wonderful.
Evening meal buffet has a huge salad selection, several meat dishes, veggies and a pasta and sauce. Cake and fruit if you have any room left. 

The hotel is perfectly placed to reach the four bays in Bali, and a little train stops outside if you decide not to walk. this runs hourly.
There are many wonderful taverna to drink and eat in near by. 

The bays are all different, Evita is one of our favourites for a quiet day. 

We have booked twice for next year,  ans can't wait to return to see Kostas and his welcoming wonderful family!

Third stay at beautiful Sunset

Very difficult to find and shortage of signals to the property.

They made us sleep in a different hotel the fist night because of a leak... really!?
The housekeer confirmed the following morning that they were fully booked and that who occupied our room left very late.

Poor quality of sheets, pillows, mattress and towels in very basic rooms. We had to pray to get an extra pillow each.

It's not a 4 starts hotel for sure however the pool overlooking the hills and the roofless bar are very pleasant.

Disorganised and slow drinks service during dinner time, sometimes the drinks arrived at the end of out meals.

Repetitive and boring menu at the restaurant. Recycled and low quality ingredients were clearly used to cook the following day meal.

Unpleasant amount of stray and visible sick cats around the property. Very annoying!

No customer service, the staff was often sharp and rushed and at times avoiding eyes contact or simple greetings.

Basic hotel, well located on the island

Absolutely appalling customer service, I have never had the misfortune to be treated with such disrespect by management of a hotel. There is no 'restaurant' in the hotel more like a buffet which serves the last two days meals recycled into something equally disappointing. The 'free parking' is parking on the street which if you turn up in a hire car (you haven't rented off them) you are rudely instructed to park down the road. If you do have children and don't want to treated in a unfriendly and unwelcome manner than I would recommend staying away. 
There was no hot water for most of our stay and the room was only cleaned every three days, hardly the service you would expect from a 4star hotel. 
I would not recommend to stay here and certainly won't be doing so again.

I would not recommend this place to anyone, there are far better 3 star hotels with owners/staff that follow basic hospitality rules.I visited the hotel with my family. From the first minute the owners were very unpleasant throughout the whole stay. Breakfast was minimalistic. The owners at check-out just tried to overcharge me and shoved me a bill for 200 euros which wasnt mine but they insisted that I would pay.
The place wasn't cleaned in our 1 week stay. They just changed the towels every 3 days but they did not clean the floors, neither the basin in the bathroom. When we politely remarked on some problems with the room and lack of warm water, we got ignored and radiculed. No help was offered! I have travelled to Crete and various placed in the world, visited about 100 different hotels but this one has been the worst. Stay away!
