On the beach

A Greek friend of mine recommended this accommodation to me and I am so glad she did! It is a little piece of  heaven one hour from Athens. 
Eleni is very warm and welcoming and cannot do enough to make your stay memorable. 
Amarinthos is the most beautiful typically Greek seaside town on the island of Evia with beautiful sea views and amazing sunsets.
There are 16 rooms with en-suite bathrooms, some with sea views and a shared kitchen with free tea and coffee. It is open from May to October.
It also has its own private beach with free sun beds for guest use. 
It is particularly suitable for families, couples and solo travellers who enjoy the Greek experience and warm welcome of a family run Pension. 
I cannot rate it highly enough and will definitely be back! 😊

Fabulous Greek Pension, highly recommended

The house is very clean, attention is paid to every detail. The kitchen equipment besides being very clean allows us to make a tea, coffee, kindly made available by Mrs. Eleni, heat dishes, have available dishes, glasses and posters. The restaurant next door is convenient to eat at affordable prices or bring food and eat on the balcony or on the beach.

Feeling at home and waking up at sea

I can only more than agree with the many great reviews below. Read and then experience, you will not be disappointed.   
I had a wonderful 16-day holiday at Pansion  Akrogiala, my “holiday” home away from home. 
It's the perfect place for a relaxing beach holiday.    
It doesn't take long to feel at home here. No wonder, with such warm, welcoming and accommodating owners who are never far away. Eleni and her mother and father are the real thing, genuine, friendly and very hardworking people, always there to help, greet, organise or have a chat. 
The rooms, sea, beach, town, Island etc (see other reviews) are great but what makes this place special are the people that run the place. I loved my stay and can’t wait to return to my “holiday home” in the not-too-distant future.

Sun, Sea and Eleni

A nice guesthouse,clean with air conditioning and balcony.Mrs. Helena(Owner) is accessible at any time.Boat trips or fishing are also possible. Quiet place, supermarket, restaurant and city centre about 1km away.

Right on the beach.

It was a very nice place. We were very happy to return to Eleni's house. Always the same warm welcome, with little care for her guests. A guesthouse with all the amenities. A shared kitchen allows you to prepare your meals. If you want you can have your breakfast at the nearby establishment, as well as meals. No need to take the car. Plus! Beautiful beach at the foot of the rooms and a nice shady garden. Everything is made here to have a very good stay.

Always so charming

The second time I go back to this place, nothing has changed. Still the same welcoming. Always the same pleasant. Always the same clean. The only difference: now Eleni is taking care of it because her parents are starting to get older. The place is idyllic on a sandy beach and facing the sunset.

A place of dreams

The warm Eleni constantly cares about our well-being and her human side gives us total serenity. The private beach, visible from the room, is only ten meters away! The clarity of the water allows us to explore the bottom. There are also private transats and umbrellas. The guesthouse is made up of a large, fully equipped common kitchen. Wifi of excellent quality. The Grand Restaurant is located next to the guesthouse via the beach (sea and afternoon) and offers a wide variety of delicious dishes such as checks/desserts such as milkshakes, ice cream, sandwiches, coffee and ice cream, etc.

What a joy

The hotel is perfectly maintained and clean, with its private beach made up of umbrellas and terraces at about ten metres from the rooms with sea views. You will find something to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the restaurant located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel and also offering access to the beach. The sea is clear and clean and offers the pleasure of exploring the bottom with scuba glasses.

Successful Holidays

Fantastic location only 50 m from the own beach with big parasols and a lot of  room. And it is no area of intensive tourism. With very cordial and helpful owners. The kitchen is complete equipped and in the neighbourhood is an good restaurant with seaview. It was the third time we have been there and we will come back next year.
