Niagara is a good choice for anyone in transit through Accra. The beds were very comfy, aircon worked well and staff were helpful (including helping organise taxis etc). Decent breakfast. Affordable, at least for Accra. 

Comfortable inn near Nkrumah Circle

Niagara Inn Hotel is located within a Ghanian neigbourhood that is very safe and also has so many food vendors (good food at very low prices), retail and grocery shops within the vicinity. It is about 9 miles to the airport and quite close to Osu central where you can find entertaining nightlife. The hotel is very clean with good breakfast and also a very good wifi connection.

A good hotel for a small - mid budget

I have compared this hotel with many others, but it gives the best value for money in the no nonsense category. 50 dollar for a double room with good Wi-Fi and breakfast, nice staff, good location in a typical Ghanese neighbourhood with many local eateries and a nice place to drink and eat something late at night with good music, called Vienna City,  at walk distance.

I stayed there for 2 days in August 2015, the hotel is average the rooms are not good against the price, the location is not safe with slums all around, they do provide breakfast with 1 or 2 options, hotels with same name are also there

The hotel is one of the best deals in expensive Accra, considering its location (very close to the city centre). The owner and the staff were nice and helpful and the only time we ate there food was good. WiFi works properly. You can pay in euros, dollars or cedis.

Downside: the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. Bed sheets were stained and there were hairs of previous clients in the bathroom. The room smelled awful (probably the AC filters had not been cleaned for a long time) and the wardrobes were in very bad shape.
