The staff was very helpful and kind.  Festus helped us find Korobite hotels since we did not have a phone or computer.  He called an Uber taxi for us too.  Roda at the front desk gave us a wonderful recommendation for dinner at the local hi-rise mall.  The manager (sorry I lost his name) escorted us to rooms and turned on the AC, the sheets were brand new and the bed so comfortable.  We really appreciated the down-home hospitality especially since we were from USA traveling to the beautiful country of Ghana.

We stayed here for a few days, after a different hotel had over booked, and we were very happy to be here.
First of all, the customer service was better than we experienced anywhere else in Ghana. If you have a problem, they will try to fix it immediately, or will find someone else who can (whether its in your room or you need a taxi, have a question, etc) . Also, the location is perfect, and nearby many banks, restaurants, shops, etc. There is even a club nearby, but yet the rooms are very quiet. 
At the same time, I do admit, there are some parts of the room that could use some maintenance (toilet, shower), but these problems ARE VERY COMMON in the hotels in Ghana, so it didnt bother us, and we were just happy to be at a hotel that was friendly, a good price, and in a good location. We would go back simply for the customer service, the big comfy beds and airco, and the quiet room for a reasonable price.

The staff are very helpful. I haven’t been back to Ghana for a while so their readiness to assist was super. Breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable. I had no problem doing payment upfront. I only didn’t like the location of the A/C. Otherwise, I had a good time. Thanks to Rhoda, the two other ladies and the management. Keep improving.

Good stay

I had stayed at El-Elyon hotel a few years ago and found it to be okay and this time around I decided to use them again. There was some initial discussion about the rate I had paid being wrong but I insisted as I had done the booking on Hotels.com after which it was resolved.                                The location is great and close to where I needed to be.The room was clean and the service was professional. However, there were minor repairs that needed to be done to make it a much better experience. I spent four nights (initially three but extended) and on day two and three I complained several times about the wardrobe cabinet door as the hinge had given way  when I opened it. On day three, I tried to open the bed cabinet and that also fell off. Despite my multiple feedback to the staff at the reception, those items were not fixed until I left.I will use them again but I believe that promptly sorting out minor issues like these would go a long way towards creating a more enjoyable experience overall.

Decent stay, Great location.

The hotel is centrally located in Osu. However, it is definitely dated. The pictures online are definitely not of the hotel we stayed in. Our room was a double bed room that at first looked decent. The bedding was modern. One bed was slightly misshaped. The room was not super big- no couch or extra room to move around. The bathroom was a decent size, but had some cleanliness issues with spiders in the corners and mold around the bathtub. The shower was only handheld and the curtains we're old.I hope that the hotel improves some of the little things that are mentioned above. The location is great and a little bit of care would make it a great place to stay again.

Staff explained hotel is under new management and that updates will be done.It was ok for us and conveniently located. Food was ok and staff very helpful.

Stayed over a week, around the last days of January 2018. Staff members are quieter, not charming no interactive; rooms were beautiful  with WIFI, however the landline phone was not working and didn't fix over the all week. Water in the bath pool didn't have an exit root. No warm water in the bath room. In the toilet, only toilet papers were available for cleaning after excretion, no water to splash or pour over the body; the maid was not sharp in exchanging toiletries, mostly until you inform some this is not in order. The restaurant does not cater for the lunch either dinner,but only breakfast.

Fantastic

The staff were lovely and tried their best to be helpful but lacked the training and knowledge to do a good job. The hotel water pump was faulty  or they didn't want to leave it on, so no regular running water. Cobwebs, dust and dead insects in the corners of rooms. Very poor wifi connections. We would not stay at this place again.

NOTHING!!  I like NOTHING .....the hotel is not a real hotel it is a dump a real genuine DUMP people should not stay; there animals should not stay there....GARBAGE belongs at EL-ELYON Hotel Accra,Ghana!! PLEASE stay away people!!

Very bad experience: the bed sheet were not changed, used soap was wrapped back, no hot water, ... not recommended
