We stayed here on our way to and on our way back from Lake Constance (Bodensee). Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The food was fairly simple but good and plentiful. The host and his family were very helpful, cooking our requested supper on return and giving us apples and water for our journey. Suggested improvement would be drat beer.

Cycling support 

Stayed here for only one night ..thank goodness! Reception is closed for a great part of the day. You need to receive a text from the owners to tell you what code to put in to open the door! And that is before you get to your room. Up four flights of steep stairs. I noticed that they have kept the rooms “private”on the first level, obviously for themselves. Shame they didn’t think about their guests. We had a shared bathroom that wasn’t too bad, except we were not expecting it. The worst thing about it though was the bed. We had 2 single beds which was ok but the slats were missing or broken. I woke up with a really sore back. Not only that but they didn’t tell you that their restaurant was closed. This was one of the reasons we booked it as we were off early the next day. So couldn’t get the wifi as we had no code. All in all the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Finally saw someone that worked there for breakfast the next day. Don’t waste your money.

Poorly run, don’t waste your money!

This place is really nice and calm .The view outside is simply majestic . Alex and Christina were really helpful .Christina walks the extra mile for translating the food menu to English and makes it easier for us to select from the options . As for Alex he is more an artist/chef . 

Perfect getaway place 

We stayed only one night. There is plenty of parking. The room was big enough and clean. The bathroom was tiny but okay. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is no elevator, so think about the number of suitcases you take to your room.
