Excellent option, everything very clean, spacious room in the rooms, care and friendliness. It was worth it, and breakfast is very good. The location is excellent, inside the wall, and you can see the entire medieval complex on foot.

We felt very comfortable here. It just fit everything. The rooms are very nice and the beds are super comfortable. The breakfast is excellent. The boss is very friendly and first explained to us what we do and where to eat well, she always has an open ear for her guests. The bad reviews here we absolutely cannot comprehend. Whoever doesn't feel comfortable here...

A lovingly managed hotel

Well, after 2 years of Covid, I'm back travelling again and hoping to guve my humble opinión of my experiences so others can enjoy or avoid the places i visit.

I stayed a few nights at this very nice family  run hotel right in the center of the old town of Nuremburg. Overall the instalations were clean and up to standard. The owner was an extremly nice woman who loved to help with any request that i made and made you feel at home. The room itself was large for aroom and had 2 big single beds and even a walk in wardrobe. The bathroom seemed new and had a great rain forest shower.

I do not normally have breakfast at the hotels because i am not a big eater for breakfast and they always seem a bit expensive to me. This time i decided to have breakfast at the hotel because there are not too many cafés in the inmediate área. The breakfast was good with a good choice of food and the price was 10 euros which i felt was worth it.
So overall a very nice, clean family run hotel in the center Nuremburg close to all the sightseeimg attractions.

We spent four nights at the hotel, and it was very convenient for sightseeing not only in the historic center of Nuremberg, but also some outlying neighborhoods and also a day trip. We had a double bed on the third floor - no lift here, but not a problem for us. The room was spacious, and then some. Plenty of room for all of our stuff and the ability to move around. The bathroom was also remarkable spacious - perhaps the only negative comment is our toilet seat was a little loose. Beds and duvets were comfortable. We did get breakfast here during our stay. The reception is not 24/7, but the innkeeper was able to watch our bags for us, and give us sightseeing and dining recommendations.

Large Room, Good Area

Unfortunately, I've been blindsided by the good reviews. I've only had negative air experiences. As a guest, you never feel unwelcome or disturbing here. The night was really not nice. It's just about money and therefore distracting tourists. Sad. A point is given for the situation that is okay. Unless you're bothered by the establishments just around the corner.

Never again

I had a very bad experience, the staff is very unfriendly, and you're not welcome at all. I would advise everyone to book somewhere else. I hope others don't have to go through the same experience.

I don't know where the good reviews come from.

First of all this home away from home comfortable, clean,  hotel is located in the heart of city center, a fabulous location close to everything, all within a short walk. The hotel is run by the owner, a very friendly and warm woman who generously took her time to advise, guide and help us daily....her suggestions for restaurants, taking the scenic tour train, and other ideas was 100% spot on, we thoroughly enjoyed each and every one. The breakfast buffet is included and was varied with meats, cheeses, even salmon, sweet rolls, and she offered to make eggs to our liking each am. The coffee was excellent which is hard to find as I’m a bit of a coffee snob. I hurt my back and she was very helpful taking her time to help us find and set up an appointment which was above and beyond. We also fell in love with Nurembourg, this is a must see city and a must stay hotel, you will be glad you did! Highly recommend!

One of our favorite hotels on a 2 month trip.....

We had two rooms, both very clean, large and with an extra room with a closet, a minibar for your own stuffing and a storage area for suitcases. The hotel is lovingly managed and you get many tips. From the hotel you can walk in 3 minutes at the beginning of the pedestrian zone. Everything within the old city walls is beautifully walkable. Although there is no air conditioning, but there were fans in the rooms. Just ask the hostess, she gives a competent answer!

The owner really makes the stay here worth it!  She's incredibly helpful and kind.  It's close enough where you can walk around the old town but it is a bit of a walk to some sites.  I had a small room on the top floor as I was traveling solo.  I haven't slept in a twin bed in a long time:). The room was a little dated but comfortable.  Breakfast is included and nice.  Overall great stay for my short visit to Nuremberg.

Good place to stay.

Excellent accommodation, arranged on 3 levels besides reception and breakfast room. We stayed for 2 nights and everything was perfect: well furnished room, bathroom equipped with everything necessary (phon included!!). Daily cleaning. The owner is really exquisite, nice and very available. Breakfast to agree on. Unique new, we suffered the heat in the rooms!! With the open window we managed to temper the African temperatures. Super recommended!!!!!!
