Hotel Zur Krone

We have been visiting this hotel for very many years since our children were quite young, they now have children of their own. The hotel is by the Mosel river not too far from Koblenz, our rooms have always been very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is typically German, with cold meats, rolls, etc. We have enjoyed many evenings, either sitting outside or inside, over a meal of Wiener schnitzel and their own Bacchus wine while watching the barges and other ships passing on the river and trains passing on the track on the far river bank. The hotel has its own butchers and vintners and we always bring home a few bottles of Bacchus. The owners and staff are always very welcoming and helpful. We will continue to visit this hotel in the future, it is our favourite hotel in Germany.
