very central location but very quiet either; some rooms have a lovely balcony looking over the lake. The room we had was very bright clean and welcoming. The lady owner is very nice and kind. the breakfast was delicious, with a huge buffet choice very well presented in a delicious room (and includes croissants as well). the balance between price and services is proper. We would surely recommend it.
There is not dedicated parking but you should easily find a free of charge place in Leuben Strasse (about 100 meters). No lift, but the staircase is short and easy.
We did not try the restaurant.

very central and enjoyable stay

We had booked at the Meschenmoser hotel online but due to a mix up they were fully booked when we had arrived and had booked us an equivalent room in Oberdorf which is not by Lake Constance. A little bit stressed we decided to drive along the road to find an alternative for that night. We came across Hotel Klett which was right at the beginning of the promenade by the lake. The waitress came to my aid promptly despite having a full restaurant to serve and directed me kindly and calmly to the owner who gave us a double overlooking the lake at 70% of the price of the booking we had made at the other hotel. The rooms were very large, bathrooms adequate. Downside was the hotel guidelines requesting guests to limit showers and tv after 10pm. The best things about this hotel were its character (a heart theme that cold have been twee but manages to stay in the realm of charming), it's excellent steaks and it's location to price ratio.
