We stayed at the Hotel for unfortunately only one night. But we highly enjoyed our stay. The staff was welcoming, the room clean with an amazing view on the Bodensee. The Strandbad was only 200m away and we enjoyed a nice day in the sun. The breakfast was served due to Covid-19, which however made it even more welcoming. Our breakfast, too, was with a nice view on the lake. Overall a really nice stay!!

Amazing short stay with a view

Easy to find, easy to park, near the lake, beautiful view, wonderful breakfast. Not everyone speaks English, but this is not a problem. Everyone is very friendly. There is an elevator. The only minus is the curtain that is very thin so when the sun rises the room is bright.

I was on a business trip on the island Mainau and booked this hotel for a 1-night- stay. As I could only arrive very late they arranged the key for me to be accessible. The personell was very friendly and welcoming and the rooms are very cosy. The only thing that didnt work was the navigation system to navigate me to arrive from the other side of the house to be able to park my car, I had to drive around a few blocks to find the right access. The parking spaces were limited in front of the house. Some soap was missing in the bathroom, too. There were only 2 tiny 'trial' packs of shampoo. Else its a very nice, tidy place and the breakfast was also tasty and especially the coffee was very good. The price for 1 night was with 100 Euros was a bit hight though I found, but I guess thats the area itself.

very nice view, calm and cosy place to stay at!

A Beautiful Hotel situated only 1 Minutes Walk from the Jetty and Yacht Club in WallHausen, we were warmly Welcomed, there a reception but it is unmanned. The Rooms are Light and Airy and  Spacious each has it's own Balcony and ours had a lovely view of Lake Bodensee. TV in each Room with en Suite Shower, and has a small cheap mini-bar in the Fridge, nothing in the Fridge will cost more than 2 euros. The Beds are very Firm but had a really nice Nights sleep. The Breakfast is delicious or as in Germany they say Lecker!!! The choice is amazing, different Cereals, Fruit's and Yogurts, plenty of meats and cheeses and different bread rolls. Breakfast is at 8.00am to 10.00am which cost 100 Euros a Night. Just a note of the area if your looking for something to do, Wallhausen doesn't offer much, it has a ferry service to Überlingen, there are a couple of Restaurant's and that is it, if you are after peace and quiet then this a a perfect place in the evening. But I do recommend Mainau Island by Car for 18 Euros per Person you can see Germany's most famous Flower Island, we did visit Konstanz too, if you like a boat trip it's a good place to go from, but it's a very busy town.
