The service was top notch!  From check in to check out they were super helpful. Carried our very heavy bags up to our room. Our room was on the top floor with access to the rooftop which was small but lovely.  The room was large as well as the bathroom.  Breakfast was included and was a very nice selection of buffet items.  Very close to town - just a few blocks.  Parking was right down the block and convenient.  I would
highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful stay!

We stayed here June 2021. This renovated place is well situated near the city center and the interior is nice.  Below we will sum up the good things, but also the things that can be improved or you should take notice of. 

What we liked:
- Very good breakfast 
- Good wifi
- Good location
- Only 5 euro for private parking
- Clean room
- Spacious room with nice balcony (room 6)
- Refrigerator, coffeemaker, extra couch and desk (room 6)

Things you should keep in mind:

- Very close to railway!! When windows are open (because of the heat) this will wake you up every half hour during the night!
- Very firm beds
- No Airconditioning, very warm in room (ventilator was available in room)
- Curtains not covering whole windows
- Other guests can be heard, also some floor noises in our own room when walking
- Breakfast (which is perfect btw) is only from 9 to 10

145 euro per night seemed a bit high and the beds and passing trains didn’t provide us the best sleep. Although the accommodation is updated and the breakfast is great; we would prefer to stay at another place next time.

Nice location; but firm beds and very close to the railway

Me and my family stayed one night in room no six. It is a big room with a balcony with a nice view over the castle.

The breakfast was superb and the hosts are doing everything they can to make you feel at home.



Amazing room and great breakfast 

We went camping for several nights near Trier/Metzdorf. After the basic camping, we decided to treat our self to some luxury the last night before heading home. We found it at Ravene. It is a typical nostalgic building, but without the nostalgic interior. Maybe the only negative thing you will hear from me. 

We were greeted by the couple who runs this hotel, they were friendly, warm people. We felt welcome. After checking in, we got some useful tips and information about Cochem (the hotel is conveniently located near the town centre). For 5 euro's you can buy a parking ticket at the reception for 1 day parking. It is 50 meters away from the hotel (the hotel rents the parking lots from another shopkeeper). 

After our wonderful day in Cochem, we went back to the hotel to enjoy our great comfy, big superior room. The whole interior of the hotel is brand new and decorated in good taste. We liked the king sized bed and perfect shower. 

Next morning we had breakfast in the lobby downstairs with several other guests. Everything is there, fresh juices, bread, toast, sausages, eggs, yoghurt. 

All in all worth every penny and recommended to all!

Warm welcome, perfect accomodation, recommended!

Lovely 3 days stay in a very nice town, (located 3 minutes from the center) great hospitality and breakfast with nice surprises for the kids in it.
Although most of the stuff does't speak English we managed to communicate and the service was superb.

Great stay

We drove to this location.  Public parking is located nearby and our host provided us with a ticket for the car to cover us for the days. The owners have spent a lot of time and thought in renovating this gorgeous old building. The rooms are very quiet and well fit out and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the room was a good size.  Hairdryer was decent.  Breakfast was great. Wifi in our room was good.  We were able to get BBC on the TV. We had a lovely visit . Hotel in a great location and relatively quiet street.  The hosts and staff were just lovely.

Lovely Ravene

Hotel was very clean.  Rooms are new and spacious.  Owner very friendly.  Good breakfast.    Close to center of Cochem.   I would stay again.  Only downside is it could be a bit noisy with the traffic/train.  Good price for a couple but I had 2 kids so be aware there is $20 per child per night.  Parking is $10 but it is very close.

Good experience

This guesthouse has recently been refurbished. The room had a king size bed and a sofa to sit and relax on. Nice big bathroom with walk in shower. Everything is spotlessly clean. Nicely presented breakfast and lovely hosts. There is no lift so if you have mobility problems book a room on the first floor. The guesthouse is a five minute flat walk from the charming cobblestone streets of Cochem. The accomodation is well priced for very nice accomodation.
