We had such a peaceful and enjoyable stay in Eto’s guesthouse. Eto is such a lovely lady and helps out with all sorts. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a very well equipped kitchen and balcony to enjoy the view of the fruit trees in the garden. Thanks Eto, it was a delight. 

Eto is great and our stay was amazing

We had such a lovely time staying at Eto’s guesthouse during our time in Telavi. We were welcomed with fresh baked treats and wine. Eto organised us the most incredible driver and guide, Mamuka. Mamuka was the kindness, most knowledgeable, entertaining, informative and generous guide we could have wished for, he truly made our time in Telavi unforgettable. 
If you find yourself heading to Telavi and want to taste some of the most amazing wine you have ever had make sure you book your stay with Eto and organise Mamuka as your guide, you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing stay, lovely rooms, incredible guide and driver

Comfy beds, clean and quiet rooms and a wonderful garden to hang out at!

Eto is a lovely host and I was welcomed with cake and house wine.
The breakfast isn’t cheap but freshly made, delicious and more than I could eat.

Really the best part about my time at the guest house was the fantastic guide/driver that Eto provided.
Mamuka Jangulashvili is the most lovely person! He speaks good English, is always in good mood, knows all the (secret) spots and is in no way pushy.
He works with a clean heart (as he likes to say) and that’s what makes him an outstanding guide/driver!

Comfy, clean & quiet rooms, wonderful garden and an outstanding guide/driver for the region!

There were plusses and minuses.  We stayed 2 nights and the toilet bin was not cleared, nor did we receive a new toilet roll.  Their home-made red wine was not very good, being too sweet.  The terrace was nice overlooking the very nice garden.  We liked the garden, and this made it very quiet.  

The breakfast was enormous and after asking for a vegetarian that was well provided.  Wifi was fine.  The room was OK and bed was comfortable and bathroom was OK but the shower head leaked all over the place.  

They very stupidly let the gates open one evening and a number of stray dogs came in for the night and barked for a while.   The lady was friendly but not as much as some people have suggested.  She organised a very cheap trip around Kakheti and arranged for the shared taxi to Tbilisi to pick us up at the gate to the GH, both of which was extremely useful.

Disappointing in some very minor ways

We stayed 2 nights and the accommodation was a good room , nice bathroom , kitchen facilities . Off street parking . Helpful hostess who speaks english ( and thanks to daughter too ) We got some washing done and used their fire pit on the terrace ( as it was pretty cold ) Thanks to Mamuka the driver who allowed us to persuade him to go to Batshara Nat Park in the Pankisi Valley . Beautiful walks.

Good location and flexibility

Great place to stay. The room was very decent and the garden is just beautiful. The owner does not speak English, but she will call her daugther to translate. We were welcomed very friendly with tea/coffee and cake, even though we did not book ahead. Highly recommend. Can imagine this to be a good place for families as well.
