We booked this place because of a few positive reviews and the high rating on Booking.com however it was very misleading. Booking.com lists all the amenities that are available but this place was lacking in many things that were essential to our stay (breakfast, dinner, hair dryer, tea/coffee, cloths drying rack, functioning washing machine, tv in the room, soap, bath towels). We tried many times to show and explain that we needed the above items but because the host doesn't speak any English, we couldn't attain them. I tried using Google translate but she kept shaking her head. We booked the two bed apartment suite which was beautiful, no doubt, but our overall experience was terrible. The host doesn't speak English so it was difficult to communicate. We only got breakfast the first day (and it was nice!) but I dont know why she didn't give us food the next few days. We had booked a dinner our second night but when we came downstairs and asked about it, she literally shooed us away with her hand. We tried to communicate with her daughter to understand what went wrong but couldn't. 
The place is very difficult to find as Google map doesn't give the correct location. there is a lot of mud, construction, and ditches on the road so you have to park your car far away. There are no street lights on the road and the host doesn't keep her porch light on so be careful at night time as visibility is very low. 
Location  was advertised as 250m to the city center but it's a good 15 minute walk to the center- which is difficult on the way back (it's an up hill battle!).
It's really not fair if you say you will provide things and then you don't. And then when we ask about them, or ask about an alternative, we are treated with harshness and made to feel unwelcome. On our last night, I confirmed with her daughter who speaks a bit of English, that we will eat breakfast at 8:30am and then check out right away. The next morning, 8:30 on the dot, we come down for breakfast and the host tells us to come back an hour later. We saw another family being served breakfast and saw that there was plenty of food on the counter but we don't know why she wouldn't welcome us to eat. It was very upsetting for us. My kids couldn't understand why the host was refusing to share and neither could we. My husband, who is a generous man and always sees the positive in every situation, couldn't fathom why the host was being so rude. 
All in all, we would not recommend this place to others.

Bad experience

Best gest hous in kazbegi. Nice place end very frendly owne. Like at home. I recomend to all to visite this place. Price is not so aqspensiv like in ather gest houses. So 5 stars from 5!!!!! Also it near from center, very qwite end relex plase.

We were traveling (young slovak couple) in Georgia and stopped for 3 days in Stepantsminda and booked Dachi Inn in advance. The owner gave us a key from our room and was very kind. She is having cute twins. She offered us both times a breakfast so we could have felt the local atmosphere. Although she doesn't speak English, we could manage to communicate. It's located close to the centre (Stepantsminda's centre is very small :), has WIFI. It was clean, nice bathroom. We recommend to visit a Hiking centre, "5047 restaurant" (a bit hipster; full of international tourist so you can chat easily) and to hike on the top of the nearest mountain where's the church and a very nice view.
