You will be locked out in the evening - their entrance code does not open the door.
There is absolutely no service in terms of changing towels or sheets or even emptying the trash!
The amenities in the room are simply a lie! One glass and one chair for two people?
Nothing actually works in the room i.e. TV and hotplates

This hotel in my opinion is in a great location. I am some one who doesn't like to walk far however there are nice restaurants by the shore 10mins walk away that are a bit expensive if you are eating alone but great if not to bring the price down. They have a great view of the sea and sell freshly caught produce.
There is a bus stop down the road that takes you to the port and Prado Seaside Park which is a must go!
The receptionist can give you directions or just google it.

There is a beach about 10 walk it's small but nice you can sunbathe of play volleyball on their courts.

I had to ask for a change of room as mine smelt of smoke, the girl at the the front desk was really helpful and helped me with my luggage several times as she gave me options on different levels.

I had room 626. Although the hotel isn't a proper hotel in the sense that you don't get your room changed everyday, no telephone in room hence no room service. You'll probably have to buy toilet tissue too as that doesn't get replaced. You can appreciate the efforts made to making the place comfortable. It looked newish refurbished. So clean. All expect the bath it had unsightly stains but everything else was nice. Clean bed, my room had an extra single day bed but I think most rooms do.
Kitchenette was clean and they have plates, cups, cutlery and a fridge.

There is a huge supermarket minutes away so you can get everything you need so if you are traveling light you can get any and everything including fresh produce like meat etc.
A couple doors down to the right is a burger place Shareloop Burgers which has yummy burgers with a friendly guy who ones it

Now the problem with the hotel.. the lift only goes to floor 5 and there are 6 floors - not the biggest problem.
My biggest problem was the fact that I got back after 22:00 and my key card didn't work! 
There is no obvious number for who to call if this happens so I had to call literally everyone on a sheet on the desk. MAKE SURE YOU ASK FOR AN OUT OF HOURS CONTACT. I am not the first this has happened to!!!
the guy was apologetic but this should not happen and it was because I was given access for 1 day and not the 2 days I paid for.

The windows in the rooms are not double glazed so you literally hear the traffic every morning.

The A/C didn't blow heat after the first night which was annoying as I'm always cold but the bedding sufficed to keep me warm.

There is a TV I never used it. Or even turned it on. There are plugs on both side of the bed which is a must for phones.

The free wifi works well I never had a problem with it.

The keycard has the info for it and the code for the door written on it.

I think if you usually slum it on holidays then this place will seem like a palace. If you like more of a luxurious holiday then you should find another hotel. I'm used to fancier hotels but I  found it a comfortable stay. With a great view from my balcony of the church at the top of the hill.
